  5. Compliments on your move Mike, i recognise the new Portsmouth ferry terminal, topdeck lol, but cant quite place the other pics, must be Seaview possibly  And i plan to get my zed back on the road for this summer , apart from missing it so much, i have lots of people now wanting to see her live again

  7. Happy Birthday mate, all the best to you
  8. Have you driven yours though Ali? 112kph is when the speed chime on imports if still fitted comes on and if you put your sidelights on and open the door, engine off does it bong? If not then its likely to have been removed or disconnected as its the first thing to go for many owners lol
  9. Welcome to the club Scott, sorry to hear about your mum. Faq section has plenty of info and links to all your questions, but dont hesitate to ask to clarify or require something thats not listed. As Gary posted above, the speed chime is standard on imports and is a little black box located to the left rear of the dash binnacle, remove the two screws under the hood of the dash, lift off the top and you can unplug the box. This will also lose the lights left on bong, but better than it getting on your nerves at speed lol. There are speedo convertors to get rid of the chime, convert speedo to mph, but can also affect power steering by tricking the ecu into thinking its going slower, alternative is to get hold of a UK set of clocks, which will eliminate all together and read mph.
  10. Sounds great with low mileage, look forward to the pics
  11. Nice to see you back Paul. any garage can do a clutch, no other specialist knowledge required for that one, price depends on garage

  16. Sorry to hear Tom, it boils my piss when i see things like this, it has happened in the past with various traders, unfortunately trade well at first, become a trusted member then a trader, then something changes like a switch and things start going tits up, member get stung or worse actually lose their cars:thumbdown: Although there are always two sides to a story, i cant wait to see what sort of reply we are going to get, if any :whistling: Either way as far as the club is concerned the outcome will likely be the same. Glad you are staying and thanks for airing your experience :thumbup1:

  21. I had the same happen to me years ago when i had the caps with the Z on the top, i actually caught the little scrote red handed when i looked out the bedroom window, he'd gone by the time i got out the door though:thumbdown:
  22. Use a router to cut out the panels, much neater
  23. Look forward to it mate, will be nice to catch up:thumbup1:
  24. Cheers Richard, had lots of nice prezzies but the main one from Julie was a trip to Venice, which is in November, about 10 days after our family holiday in Menorca. So from going from having no holidays this year to work on the house, we are still getting two lol Had a family BBQ and ended up getting the 6x3m gazebo out cos of the bloody rain, August has been absolute shite for weather this year. The past three bbq's have been hit by rain at some point in the evening  so our next main one is in Sept, which apparently will be an Indian summer :whistling: wont hold my breath on that one till nearer the time.
