  1. I know what you mean lol, mine is an N/A but after a few mods and lightening bits its alot faster than it was as an auto, but i will still get me a TT one day, maybe when ive finished mine. I would still keep the N/A as a daily driver and use the TT for the extra grin factor when i feel the need lol.
  2. The zed looks in nice condition, how does it feel power wise compared to the Calibra?
  3. Wow you really got stuck in there lol. Did you do all that on the road? hats off to you if you did, the weather didnt look too great either, but youve turned her into a smart looking motor that probably goes like stink, well done.
  4. Happy Birthday Jane, dont think of it as getting older, more like maturing and growing wiser
  5. I would change the MAF, more likely wouldnt rev past 3500 and clean the connectors on the IAC valve at the rear of the plenum by the battery and check for corrosion on the temp sensor on the front top hard pipe from the rad.
  6. I have autodata lol, but only clear the codes if you fixed the problem, or they will come back again. I use datascan to erase my codes, if i had any.
  7. The dial faces have a blue hue impregnated onto them im afraid, so all you can do is add some white 24cm flexible led strips around the 2 main dials, basically forcing the white through. Take a look in the how to section for the write ups
  8. Also services to members here http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=132225
  9. You know what, i think they look better than the stainless sills, nice job.
  10. The needles should be brighter than that, hence the suggestion to put leds directly on the diffuser arms. The angle of a single led isnt sufficient from the distance away at the bulb holder. It might be just the pic, but you seem to be getting overspill on the dials or too close to the film of the dial itself, so it looks to have a washing effect. Try placing the strip slightly lower so that it lights more from behind the dial face, rather than across it. You will notice the difference also in the redline on the rev dial.
  11. I dont think it will be too bright, the led strip around the outer casing rather than under the dials will give a reasonable even light, the main issue are the single leds in the bulb holders that will create a hotspot in comparison. I would stick some single leds onto the diffuser arms for each dial ( where the bulb holder is aiming at) they will predominantly light the needles nice and bright and leave the strips to give the ambient glow for the dials. You may need to have a play with the location of the strips for best coverage.
  12. I know the answer to that one:whistling:
  13. Ian dont be so hard on yourself mate :tt2::lol::lol::lol:

  18. Top row accessories you have a 10amp and a 20amp fuse next to each other, its one of those iirc.
  19. Jdm mirrors, both fold. It could be that one has been replaced with a UK mirror. Does it fold manually? If not then the plate at the bottom of the mirror was probably cracked and has been screwed in place. Its easier to get hold of another jap mirror and place your casing around it.
  20. No worries mate, will definitely get over in plenty of time before you have to get everything finalised.
  21. Lucky escape indeed, i would always change the cambelt if unknown or on someone elses say so, regardless for peace of mind. Will save a fortune and possible headache in the future.
  22. Dont scrap it, im sure someone here would take it off your hands for more than the scrap value.
  23. So you are going to get shot of the car because of a couple of wheels leaking? Or just the wheels?
  24. What size spacers have you got on there at the minute?
