mobile phone ~ orange want to give me £100
The Samsung G600 is a very nice phone but I am about to get from T-Mobile the Samsung G800 which has a very high spec. 5mpix camera with 3x optical zoom autofocus and Xenon flash, MP3, FM radio, 3.5G etc.....etc. http://uk.samsungmobile.com/mobile/SGH-G800 Probably not robust enough for you but I think it's beautiful :hyper: :hyper: Anyone got one + is T-Mobile OK???

Lost my bloody phone....
Have you advised your service provider so you don't get stung by large bills?

Lost my bloody phone....
Have you tried phoning it? I've had mine returned twice in recent years by doing this, once at a vintage car rally near Cheltenham and once in Portugal.

Noels Christmas Presents
I doubt it........but even if he did, there was no need for him to beg for the credit.

Noels Christmas Presents
I agree the recipients were special people but I didn't like the way Edmonds kept saying "MY presents" and "presents from ME" as if he was making sure of being recognised as such a 'Mr. Nice Goody-goody!'. Took the edge off the show for me. :hurl:

Merry Christmas to you!
I'm very confused  How the heck did you get the photo of my best attribute onto my post? Where is my original 'wave' picture...can't it be seen? I AM in the picture, I'm second from the right next to Athene

Merry Christmas to you!
Thanks Athene - I join you in wishing everyone a great Christmas and an even better New Year. I for one am certainly looking forward to the SC meets in 2008 Keep the wave rolling... Cheers - Dave

UK postage rip-off
OK - As Chewie hasn't said what size/weight his "£45" parcel is, I've just done a quote on Interparcel's website for a 10kg parcel size 50mmx50mmx50mm and the price has come out at £19.99+vat. (It would use DHL Europlus service which gives 2-5 days delivery) How does that compare?

"Nice looking zed" Where'd you see the picture Steve? (by the way, welcome Sonia......as Hellraiser says, South Central is the region for the best meets. Join us at our next meet Jan/Feb) Dave

UK postage rip-off
I've recommended "Interparcel.com" on here several times and they always seem a good price. Just have a look at their site for a quote by entering the size/weight of the parcel..........you will probably be pleasantly surprised. They have 'special arrangements' with other carriers and, at the moment, I can send almost any weight and size within the UK for £6.99+vat via DHL. I sell things on ebay and ALWAYS find them the cheapest for the UK. Not sure how their overseas charges stack up but let us know on this thread, it might help other members.

need some ebay advice
I find this a bit strange as, when I clicked on your link, the item in question had a 'buy-it-now' price of £185? Why would you bid an auction price of £201 when you could have bought it immediately for £185? I realise the auction for this item has now ended and it shows '0' bids, not the 21+ that I would have expected to see.

Spot the difference
Owzatt?????? there were only three differences! :D :D

That's very true........I pay my "4p a day" cos that's what the dues are, I believe that if you take something out you should put something back and I've taken a lot of good advice and help from this club. I am tempted to say a few things about what's wrong with the club and what could be done to improve it but we have been specifically asked not to do that on this thread.....so I wont. Dave

Some old dribbler just reversed into my car.
AGREED!

Some old dribbler just reversed into my car.
Sorry about your car Si but don't agree with your ageist comment! If ageism were a factor then youngsters under 25 shouldn't be allowed to drive at all as they cause most accidents.

TT radiator in an NA?
Hi - Here is the link to the thread about the rad I bought in the UK:- http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=98538&page=1&pp=15 Post 23 gives the name and phone number of the maker. Let me know how you get on and if you need more info. Cheers - Dave

TT radiator in an NA?
Why would you want to fit a TT rad to a N/A anyway? I recently bought a new N/A rad from the manufacturer in the UK for less than £80 including vat and shipping and it is absolutely identical to the original. If you want details let me know. Cheers - Dave

beowolf
I saw it last night (by myself!) and thought it was quite good but it was a bit like a Walt Disney cartoon. The animation was good but not as good as I expected considering the reviews I had seen on tv.

SC Christmas Meet 2nd December (last one of the year!)
I've not 'turned into a fair weather zeder' I've ALWAYS been one. I am fortunate enough to have my Zed as a second car and use it just for pleasure. I therefore don't have to drive it in inclement weather and usually only use it with the targa's off which, to me, gives the maximum pleasure. Even if the weather's cold I find the Zed's heater is more than adequate to keep me warm and cosy even with the targa's off. Rain however is a different matter, so providing the weather is likely to be dry on the Sunday I look forward to another pleasant spin in 'my favourite car of all time' to join you all at the Christmas Meet.
