Stock antenna headunit connector
If you're talking about the plug that goes into the back of the radio, are you aware that the reason it is two pronged is that there are TWO aerials on the Zed......the noticeable electric aerial and a hidden one in the rear window. No problem if you only connect to one but you lose the rear window aerial facility.

My Nightmare Wheel Repair
Seems like an ideal candidate for the small claims court! It's not a difficult procedure and you should claim for ALL the money you have spent on this exercise........must be at least £300. Maybe you could also claim for loss of use of your Zed but you might need legal advice to assess this. DON'T LET THE B**GG**S GET AWAY WITH IT. At the very least go and see your local trading standards officer or Citizen's Advice.

Should the South west be split into 2 smaller areas ?
Why not wait until the results of the National poll on this subject that Bigkim has posted. It includes the splitting of SW into two regions so perhaps those who have voted and commented here should re-vote on Bigkim's thread.

Review of Reigional Area's
If you read post#1 again you will see that the list Bigkim has posted there is for the NEW PROPOSED regions. This shows that Ireland will remain as ONE region. There is no suggestion that Ireland should be split into more than one region, NOR that any of the UK regions be broken down any further than the list shown.

Review of Reigional Area's
In the map showing the 'new' proposed regions is SC the same as it is now? Although the map is a good indication, is it possible to show a map similar to the one provided with the new members pack? This shows the county boundaries and is much more precise about where the existing boundaries are. By the way, I think the proposal to increase the number of regions is a very good one. It will result in more local meets and less mileage (cost!) to attend them. I think the point should be made that no-one is restricted to attending ONLY their local meets but are encouraged to attend any 'local' meets that they want to, however far away they are. I get the feeling that some members think that they wont be welcome to attend other region's meets if their region is divided (SW is an example of this). Nothing is further from the truth.

Review of Reigional Area's
But Bigkim is NOT proposing any change to Irelend!

Review of Reigional Area's
But Bigkim is saying that Ireland remains as one region, why would you vote 'no' for the rest of us having smaller regions?

New Exhaust
I will need a new exhaust myself soon, I can't find the one you refer to on eBay US but I'd rather buy from the UK anyway. Does the group buy supplier still make them and are they on eBay UK? Dave

New Exhaust
Topless led a group buy last year for a stainless steel system for TT or N/A around £250.........was highly praised by the buyers. Why not send him a PM........they might still be available as a one off from the manufacturer.

Is it possible to put up a map showing the proposed changes?

Got another ZX!!
Welcome back to the Zed fraternity Jez. I like the 280 but I LOVE my Z32! My son had a 260 (photo below) and it was whilst visiting the Castle Combe show a couple of years ago with him that I saw my first Z32 and fell in luuuuuuuv! I immediately sold my Boxster (you can just see it in the photo) and bought my first beautiful 300Zx, which you subsequently bought off me! I wish you every success with your new aquisition and look forward to seeing it 'in the flesh'. Cheers - Dave

Broken PCB component on speedo
I agree with you, they're a great bunch on here. If you are planning to replace the complete clock set, make sure they are from the same series as your Zed because different series have different designs, both physically and electrically.

Bargain? I would have thought so!
To begin with, Si, I thought you were talking rubbish (I should have known better). I bought a set of UK wheels off this site last year and only knew the rear wheels were wider. I've just been out to check and you are right (of course) the rear wheels DO have a concave dishing compared to the front. (BTW my sig picture was taken before the UK wheels were fitted.) Talk about 'subtle'..........your not kidding. They say you learn at least one new thing each day, well I've just learned mine today. Thanks Si:bow:

Bargain? I would have thought so!
I have to agree Athene, that's why I'm fitting new wheels to mine, but do you think we might be a bit biased? I didn't think the standard wheels looked out of place when I first 'discovered' the Z32 a couple of years ago. But now so many are fitted with aftermarket wheels that look so much better, the stock wheels appear, dare I say, somewhat plain. Anyway, a few hundred quid would soon put that right.

Steady on, Athene, have you seen some of the spelling on this site:rofl:

Bargain? I would have thought so!
I came across this Zed on ebay a few days ago and decided to 'watch' it to see what price it reached. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=250230141299&ssPageName=STRK:MEWA:IT&ih=015 To my surprise no-one has yet placed a bid and I would have thought a starting price of £1,995 with no reserve was a very reasonable price. Am I missing something? Dave

Need Legal Advice
I wouldn't offer anything if I were you, making an offer to help with repair costs would compromise your position as it might be seen as you admitting some responsibility. You're in the right so stick to your guns. I've claimed for unpaid rent through the small claims court but I don't remember having to go to court, it was all done on paper. They sent the bailiffs in and I got my money including costs.

Need Legal Advice
The guy must be a bit stupid anyway, paying by paypal then collecting himself. I would ALWAYS pay cash if I was collecting. You seem to have made the situation clear in your ebay ad so I wouldn't be bovvered if I were you, I can't see the guy winning through the court......after all, the court understands plain English.

I wish you all the luck in the world but..........don't count your chickens, you know better than I do what a conniving son of a bitch that creature is!

E-bay buying help
James is giving good advice. The only thing I would add is be sure you bid the HIGHEST amount you are would be willing to pay, NOT what you hope it might sell for. You will be very disappointed if you bid £810 and it sells at £820, then afterwards you think you would probably have been happy to have paid £900. Don't forget you will only pay £10 above the previous highest bid which, assuming it was £850, you will win the item for £860. One last word of advice, don't bid in whole pounds but a little over, eg £901.35, then you will score over those (the majority) who bid in whole pounds. Good luck with your bidding, let's know how you get on.

300zx image problem?
I'm not really concerned about my Zed's 'image' or what Joe Public thinks of it! I've had a fair few cars in my time, must be over 60 over the last 47 years, and I have never been so attached to a car as I am my Zed. Both it's looks and performance are perfect so far as I am concerned....feast your eyes on my sig. If someone doesn't rate it that's their perogative, it would be a very boring world if we all liked the same things.
