cool i will save my pennies on the alloy bits then and spend it on tyres fuel and beer lol. Is it worth changing the air filter that comes with them or will it not make much difference?

Wow what a responce. You defo know your stuff. I was going to change the arms and everything on whatever i get to alloy parts anyway just so i know i wont break it if it lands hard. Do you have a website for your shop ad are your shells on there?

well i want to be able to mess about with the boys and there touring cars in the car park but would also like to go off and do my own thing with it in the woods and at the local gravel pits. the T-maxx 3.3 and the T-revo 3.3 are both in budget so i guess you could say my budget is between £400 and £500

what is the best all round truck the Traxxas T-Maxx or the Traxxas T-Revo? Also my kids have both got tamiya touring cars and i cant find anywhere to get new shells for them. Do you sell them or do you know where i can get them from

Your not the only one mate mine has never missed a beat and mine is also a original 2005 version

If you want my advice mate get the shocks done too as with just springs it will shake you to bits and you will get the hump with it! I did just the springs on my GT TDI and tried 3 different makes all were the same they shake you to bits and also make the anti-roll bar drop links fall to bits in a matter of months ( i had 4 sets of drop links in 3 years ). When i changed to a full kit the ride was much better no banging or crashing about on bumps. You will also need to remove the plastic belly pan as when you lower a golf it will hit the ground on the smallest of bumps. I had eibach springs with koni shocks and 18" alloys with p zeros on mine in the end it went round corners like a dream :) Hope this helps mate.

The laguna was the ex wifes car mate. Now she has gone i thought i would treat myself to the bmw :-) lol The zed is sat on my drive feeling sorry for itself i need to get a front wing sorted out for it. Not really had the time to do it as work has been manic. I will have her back on the road for the summer though :-)
