  1. I was down at the watering hole yesterday and they are undertaking some major alteration works, although still open, so not sure of capacity. but may be finished by then. Still plenty of other pubs, restaurants etc. Suggest we play it by ear on the day?
  2. I think Perranporth best place to meet, as large carpark and more to do, shops other restaurants and pubs in town, can always convoy along coast into Newquay after! Might need to bring your snow plough! boat, ice breaker depending on the weather. Contacted John in Falmouth and he is up for it in his newly acquired zed. hvae not heard back from others yet
  3. Change cam belt idlers as well as they tend to seize!
  4. You can always try Andyzed at supercarparts, he usually has autoboxs in stock thats where I got mine, reasonable price and will arrange delivery.

Very popular in the summer. got good rooms if you want to stay there, and let you have dogs in the rooms. Jamies O's restaurant just along in next bay.
  7. Could make 20th? in fact 20th is only week end in Cornwall! suggest meet at Perranporth or Mawgan Porth? both got sandy beaches and pubs close by? spoke Jon Lowndes? he will come if not working? will try shelton, gary, mike and falmouth John next week.
  8. Car in garage for winter, unless somebody wants to by it! Got my GTB now Im in London for two weekends in January anyway.

  10. If its in safe mode, more than likely MAF ( AFM ), best to get one from somebody on here that knows its OK, nothing worse than gatting a part thats duff as well, usually about £80/90. Try andyzed at supercarparts.

  13. Yep new springs/gas dampers and polybushes, got mine set up with 2deg neg front and about 1.5 neg rear. that was done using shims at protyre in Bristol.
  14. Steve, pour water down drain tube, and found comig out of split in drain tube behind fuse box in footwell, but only got small amount of water actually in footwell, had to remove fusebox to repair. pia!
  15. I had that, water from targa drain runs past fuse box, split in pipe
  16. Sounds like electrical problem to me try soft reset of ECU. are you getting any error codes when you swithch on, power light flashing. my bet is the ecu which you can check for error codes. has it got wet?
  17. Yep defo water temp sender, normally the yellow one, cauese lots of little probs that thing!

  19. Another thing to try, which worked on mine before doing anything expensive is go down to harry Halford and get some lifter lube, about £6 and try that. it may take a few hundred miles to work but it did the job on mine. I just add some more each time I do oil change.
  20. my bet is still the drain tube from the Targa, pour some water down the hole and see where it comes out or dare I say heater matrix?

  22. I got an NA import for sale: insurance no diff on an import as far as I know! according to NU just goes on performance etc.
  23. I got polished wheels look good and were cheap £200 inc tyres!
