No prob at night as dipped HID lights stay ON when you use mains, as earthed.
-

Slave cylinder knackered?
-
overdrive
Gear box designed for o/d to be engaged all the time i.e. ON. for all normal driving situations. swithch it off for reasons, such as gear hunting on twisty roads etc.

HID dipped/full beam mod
I thought about the relay method as had a spare relay lying about, but just could not bring myself to stsrt disconnecting wires and trying attach into the fuse boxes! I was chicken, just in case something went wrong. Zed wiring is not the most stable. So going to stick to the Earth method, How often do you flash your lights in daylight anyway?

N/A Take Off
If you want to break the gearbox: rev to about 2k with foot on brake then plant it and let off brake. also going thro box with selector will gaurantee max revs in each gear: but gbox wont last long! As engine VVtec (Variable valve timing) power take off is not till after abvout 4K.

overdrive
Defo, leave it on. useful to switch off sometimes on twisty roads to stop it going up and back down all the time when driving fast. also useful to get a bit of extra engine braking going down hill when off.
