March meet....?
Cool, might have a convoy at last! Ill see if Jon is going to join us.

Should we split the South West Region
There are about 6/7 zeds in and around camborne/redruth area and we cant even get together on a regular basis; so I think the sw area is OK as is so you can have different people from all the locations going to the meets as they wish. You will never get a location and or date to suite everyone! as for travelling to a meet. thats half the fun! CONVOY!!! but we cant even arrange that and there is supposed to be about 4 going this Sunday from down here. see what I mean.

Need a new windscreen
When mine got smashed and could not drive it, they came with a green windsreen, but would not fit it as it did not match and it was going to take 2 weeks to get bronze replacement, which had to be shipped in from Germany ( RAC Windscreens ) I insisted my insurance company gave me a loan car. They gave me Zafira for two weeks. only cost me £60 excess and did not affect my no claim. that was with NU direct. The one thing to check is that they order the side trim at the same time as they cannot or should not reuse the old one as they distort or break when you remove them as they are bonded. good luck.

tracking
Yes if you want to increase the camber at the front; you can just add shims, which is what I did. if you want to decrease the camber; then you might need a kit with longer bolts and shims to suit. I run mine with about 2 deg. neg front and 1 deg rear, with a bit of toe out front and 0 rear. Toe in/out can be adjusted through the track rods. Pro tyre set it up for me; about £60 a few years ago.

Light bulb hell!!!! Help needed
You can use H3's in dipped with the conversion. all you need to do is earth the mounting plate. similar to this http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/showthread.php?t=89286&highlight=bulbs+earthing but I used the fuse bit holder from a standard plug and clamped the fuse holder bit to the mounting plate. easy to do. Also means you can use uprated bulbs. And if you earth the one these bulbs to the body they saty on with the main beams Changed to hids now

No drive from auto box
Did you check fluid level with engine on! and on a level surface? unusual to get some creep, unless stator shaft stripped. have you tried it in hold mode, or moving of in 2nd? could be clutches but should not all go. if all else fails get it checked by auto specialist. QAS in Filton is best I know in Bristol area.

hydrolic boot lid holder open things!!!!
Gas filled struts. better to spend the money on changing spoiler to fglass to reduce the weight by about half.

Brake Disks
suggest you get drilled /grooved discs as replacements ( black diamond or similar ) great improvement at not much extra cost.

bottom end rattle
Try lifter lube from halfords, works for me. most of the time.

Tax disc placement
The offence is for non-display, irrespective of whether it is actually taxed or not, you will have to pay- been there done that. waste of energy to fight it. move on in my opinion.

HID's DFT official view
Of course many things get through the MOT, rear fogs etc. Just letting you know what the official line is. increased vision must be safer anyway.
-
HID's DFT official view
Agree with Legrath, should not really be a problem with projector headlamps, as source is the projector glass, and can adjust in the normal way.
