Honestly earthing the hids is no problem, how often do you flash in daylight! With the 80w Ring superbrights ( £15 on ebay ) added to mains, they are same colour as hids and give appreciable extra light when both on. thought about doing relay as got spare relay, but the thought of cutting into wires and disturbing the fuse box scared the living daylights out of me. zed wiring not the most stable?

have you earthed the hids? so they stay on when you put main beam on. Also you can upgrade your mains with Ring 80w suprbrights, they match the colour of the HIDs. Now for the side lights/ indicators - leds in fogs ok, but if you put fogs on will melt leds, so upgrade to H3 leds! Amber LED indicators will need ballasts added to stop fast flash syndrome.

defo a fuse, you have just got find it. have taken them all out and checked. I am sure itll be down in drivers well somewhere. I blew one of mine and it wasnt the one it should have been?

Isnt easier to convert inner rear lights to fogs, which mine has: mine were already done, so just think you have to put twin filament bulb holder in, to take offset pin bulbs?

PTU connectors or dying PTU, have you checked coil pack connectors. disconnect each one to see which one it is. also could be injectors;clean.

The trouble with AFM they look ok but just go; need to do voltage check or replace with one known to be OK. Can you rev to over 2.5 K If AFM it will not let you, fail safe mode.

Have you checked wiring by fusebox yet? as it seems to have started just after heavy rain. Try drying out with hairdryer? took me three days to find thats what it was with mine as it didnt look wet but water had got behind box and was shorting connections. Dried it out as above and hey presto aok ,then found split in tube.
