You must have a power/hold switch by the gaer lever? your power light should come on when you first switch on, then goes out, if it flashes thats a warning something is wrong! Suggest you do take it Paul at SWZ, should sort you out.

Yep thats where it is. For sport mode swithch on power button and swithch off o/d only goes up to third. o/d is 4th. when you swithch on does the power light flash at you 16 times I think that warns you that there is a problem with the autobox. have you done an aoutobox diagnostic check. do a search on forum. you just need to move g.lever etc. and power light will flash codes at you.

O/D is fourth, button on gear lever. lock up locks the torque converter so no slip, gives direct drive. ECU is located under floor in passenger well. Try Andy Z in traders section to see if he has one, usually about £80. Another possibility is the wiring, broken or dodgy connection somewhere. You could try a good auto box specialist who would do pin test to trace it. QAS in Filton is the only people I know up that way that are v.good.

80 at 3100 is in o/d with lock up. 26.5/1000 approx. Had similar probs with mine not changing as it should, was ECU - diognostics said all sorts of things. they were ok just changed the ECU and all was ok. If temp sensor playing up engine would run realy rough!

I put black diamond drilled /grooved 26mm discs on mine, work great, defo improvement!

Springs are bright yellow single pitch not progressive, dont know make though! have not adjusted shocks, just what the setting was when I put them on, seemed ok to me!

Thats the idea! Alternate Plymouth/Exeter/Bristol for main meets then have mini locals in between. How about setting up dates well in advance so we all know when and where and wont clash with any local meets that people want to arrange!

I have gas shocks fron zedworld( fitted a couple of years ago when fitted polybushes),with stiffer springs: ride ok but does bang sometimes. only driven it with these springs so cant compare: road holding quite good with Falken 452 tyres.

both buttons will put aircon on. press econ to swithch off, so act as normal heater. unfortunately everything else is automatic. so it controls distribution/ speed of fan if left on auto. you can over ride the speed with the high/ low buttons but distribution is always automatic, except when you press dmist then it should swithch aircon on and direct at screen! if it does not then something is wrong with motors on padels as you say!

As I said if you push Auto button aircon on all the time to switch off press econ button! demist button switches aircon on. press econ button so light goes off and aircon back on again.

Econ button swithches aircon off, oterwise aircon on all the time! Fan is on all the time also unless you press off button.

have you tried the aircon, does it still work? have you checked coolant level? you should always run the aircon regularly even in winter ( as demister )

Just wrap the connectors in pvc electrical tape, problem solved!

Cant see the point of swithching dipped off when you put mains on; you get extra light. even my astra keeps dipped on! Every time you swith on hids you lose a bit of life as they are gas discharge lamps. So dont flash too often ( how often do flash anyway ) but you switch between dipped/main a lot. so keeping them on is best compromise! best solution is to use relay and wire up as in article if your that brave, or get auto eletrician to do it for you.

You just need to earth only one of the bulbs usually the black wire, to any where on the body, usually a screw somwhere, it is that simple! I believe adding the hids, earthing them with upgraded mains is the best value mod for a zed ever!!
