  1. I was told they were the same when purchased mine afew years ago, just lucky then! apologies! but they are marked left and right though.
  2. Yes they are on the same circuit; if the horn does not work then it could be just a simple electrical fault/fuse. if it does then it will be something else?
  3. :headvswal Really pissed of at missing this, on my doorstep!! Wont be back till Monday now or would have tried to make it.
  4. They are all the same! They are marked left and right, so you have to put them on the corrsct side or they wont fit correctly!
  5. Does your horn work, Its on the same circuit. I had this and it was a broken wire near the fuse box under the bonnet: an electrical guru found it and spliced in new wire. Or could just be a fuse?
  6. Beach at Perranporth, plenty of pubs!!
  7. car park at Fraddon gone, used by shopping precint now! only McD car park left. Glad to see Gary is going to make it, sorry I will miss it! Somebody needs to tell John In Falmouth about change? he was going to go this week end?
  8. Without doubt Falken 452, if buy from a fitter that is one of their stockists, you get a great deal; paid £138 for two fitted and balanced.
  9. 6.5 k is natural pure white! if you check on any photo shop programme that is what gives you a true natural image. 4k yellowish, 8k bluish.
  10. Does it come on when you first switch on the ignition then go out? (ecu doing fault checks )
  11. Combine it with a trip to Drayton manor just round the corner from Zed world!
  12. Try simple things first, have you checked the water temp sensor connections ( yellow one on top of rad ) this causes all sorts of rough running: just clesn connectors or replace if really bad.
  13. I put black diamond drilled and grooved discs on mine and had same problem, does not seem to affect brake performance; it reduced a bit after pads wore in, but still there a bit under very hard braking. already had polybushes etc. was told by garage that dics are very very slightly warped, which they said is fairly common on drilled/grooved discs!!!. so will have to live it. under normal braking OK no probs.
  14. Put big loud airhorns on, thatl wake people up!
  15. As far as I am aware there is no problem in runiing box with Hold on, just shifts up at lower revs and makes kickdown less responsive, as well as pulling away in 2nd. Handbook says its OK to use for sedate in town driving. less revs, slower speed = more mpg?!
  16. I will have to have a meet on my own then! Hope it snows on the 27th - oops! No I dont, will be on way back from London!
  17. correct dont cut any wires, just add an earth to one of original black earth wires ( splice in using a snap cnnector) and run that to an earth point somewhere close ( bolt)
  18. All you have to do is run one of the dipped beam lights direct to earth on the chassis, the black wire. job done! the downside is that if you flash in daylight they both will come on but will take some time for anybody to see it!.
  19. Cant make 27th! have told others down here its the 20th!!! ce la yie!
  20. I would of thought HID high beam is really not worth it, as by the time they have heated up to temp you have to switch them off again! also if you keep switching it shortens the bulb life considerably. You must earth the dipped ones or use a relay so you are not without lights when you swithch from one to the other, take up to ten seconds to warm up each time. Better to use xenon 80w Ring H1 high beam bulbs ( almost the same colour as the HIDS )
  21. Perranporth Main Car park next to beach, there is only one! not a big place!
