What is the best way to take off in a J-Spec N/A Auto? Is it using the gears manually or in D? I ask as in D with overdrive off and power on, when flooring it after the brief wheelspin the car doesnt seem to "take off" really until highger in the rev range? Is this normal?

If you want to break the gearbox: rev to about 2k with foot on brake then plant it and let off brake. also going thro box with selector will gaurantee max revs in each gear: but gbox wont last long!

As engine VVtec (Variable valve timing) power take off is not till after abvout 4K.
