My NA rad went and put UK TT rad in with seperate Autobox cooler, straight swop. except for hose cons to cooler. Try Andy zed for bits.

Had mine replaced last year. Autoglass did it through insurance, told them it was an import etc. Turned up and took old glass out and went to fit green tint one!!!. Im went mad! Told them to get correct one. did not bring trims either? ****ers and this was after waiting two days for them source parts. Anyway had to put car in garage and wait for 10 days for correct glass and trim. Good old NU direct had to pay the £900 and a hire car for the 10 days, only an Astra though. If you go through insurance make sure you tell them It is definitly Bronze and you need the trims done at the same time as all bonded together.

But when is it, cant find any info. on web!

Anybody got any info. on when this is to be held this year? might be opportunity for a few zeds to meet up there and maybe even have a run! :cool:

Usually takes about 100miles of running before you notice any change! You could try an oil change and repeat dose. I repeat after every oil change and has been succesful so far. occasionally does come back when starting when cold but soon goes away. If this does not work may need to change lifters if it really bothers you that much.

Falken 452, are a good bet, get from local stockist. I paid 138 fitted& vat, down here in sunny cornwall.

Thanks for that. Dont think its Head gasket, or at least hope not. no steam or loss of fluid, temp OK. seems electrical. Well it seemed like more, but could be just one cylinder. managed to limp home at about 45ish to keep cay light off. How do I clean connectors? where are they? Never been done before, had car for over 5 years, so maybe do need cleaning?

Went for a spin today, first time in a few weeks. booted it on A30 and immediately lost a couple of cylinders ( went all lumpy and cat light came on, unburnt fuel). limped home about 10 miles. Would this be ptu, connectors or? any suggestions to try out or check whats gone wrong!

Jon, could be lots of things, try simple ones first - loose connection to water temp on rad, the yellow one - take off and clean. this does it for me. or maf? good luck.

Twas me I think, you have to reapply after oil change. but has worked for last few K.

ok looks like sunday 23rd april, as for location I would prefer somewhere on the coast, Perranporth car park would be OK, if we get there early before 12 say. Hope it will be sunny and warm! Had same problem with ticking lifters so got some fluid from harry halfords, called valve lifter fluid to quieten hydraulic lifters and It worked, Got tip from Jeff TT. Took a few miles to work through but was effective. redo each oil change.

Shelton, yep I ve found the same, Black one in Four Lanes, silver one in next street to me, dont seem interested at the moment, but maydo if things go wrong! Yep fitted covers soon after you gave them to me. found an upholsterer in Illogan, Spar lane, he fitted them and sorted out rears ,well cheap! Car garaged for the moment. had a quick look at John L bonnet seems AOK. Ok for mini meet open for suggestions then!

Shelton, No Zed still the one. :cool: still got MR2, but took it in to Powells for suspected cam belt probs in APRIL and it is still there!!?? In huge dispute with them. They fixed it eventually in mid- December but wanted to charge too much, and also damaged a wing, let the paitwork go shabby, due to it being left on the forecourt without any attention. Got NCS looking into it, but may end up in claims court. :headvswal :mad: Also had some woman try to park her Xj6 in front of me, in a space that would be too small for a mini and of course her rear end end finished up on top of my front. Got it back last week, she paid up in cash. :rant: Took it Trewcolors, north roskear. they did my hood last year. top finish at good price.
