Power Steering or Lack of?
Just had some hoses changed on the power steering, as there was a slight leak. Now I am getting a intermittent loss of power assistance while driving, most disconcerting, OK while stationary and at very low speed. Just goes and comes back again whhile driving, not a complete loss just gets noticably heavier! Could it be air in the system? or something else? Was all ok before hoses changed!

my wiper blades, which i put on in the spring ( champion ) started to squeek all the time, no matter how much it was or wasnt raining. Used washer additve and screenex, no difference, just squeek bloody squeek!! So I changed the blades for New super dooper Bosch ones (£12 notes each) gauranteed to clear screen and be silent! Great for 4 days. now guess what------ squeek bloody squeek again, driving me up the wall? as I use the car most days and of course on most days its raining. Any body any ideas, other than changing the windscreen or the car??

Wet carpet!
Hi, just had mine replaced with new core ( not worth fitting 2nd hand), by my local garage. Gave him the guide from the aussie site. http://www.aus300zxclub.com/tech/heater/heatercore Doing it without removing the Dash. Did it in a day, said it wasnt easy but worked OK. Have not had the bill yet so dont what it cost, except for parts which cost £ 140 for Matrix, hoses £29. They also replaced my rad and put Autobox cooler on a few months back with a 6K service and that cost £78 inc vat. ( I suppllied rad parts which i got from Andyzed)

Aircon Problem
Why are you regasing anyway, unless there is a problem with the Air con? You dont need to touch the aircon to change Matrix! do you?

Heater matrix - help
For the last few days I have had to top up rad, no sign where it was going, now I have wet feet in the footwell? could this be the heater matrix or leaky hose conn. If so, I think there is a quick by pass fix untill I can get a replacement, can someone advise what to do. And has anyone got a heater matrix for sale? Any help or input appreciated. Just replaced rad and that looks OK. Sa la vie :( :( Cheers

Cornwall Meet
As I am now basically resident in Camborne at preent, although occasionally going back to Bristol some W/E. I was wondering how many Zeds are in the area and if it was worth having a MEET before weather breaks again. Anyone intersested????? or indeed is thereanybody down here with a zed! Having said that there is another red one, I have seen it in the Halfords cp and on the road around Camborne. So I am not alone! Look forwaed to hearing from anyone. :D

Bristol meet, (Or surrounding area)
Hi. all, I may be around when you arrange the meet, I spend most of my time in Cornwall now, but do come back to Bristol some weekends. Chequers is a good location, where we have had a few meets before. A good idea would be to put direction arrows at strategic locations, as some people found it difficult to find last time.

Paint shop, Bristol area?
Yep, he now runs QAS in Filton, about 3years now. they run a Green Flag operation from there too. They are very good. Sorted my Autobox out when I first got it, another broken wire.

PIAA "Superwhite H3C bulbs vs 85w H3C
Jap bulbs are H1 main beam - I use 100w philips +30% Ok as not on much H3C dipped - use PIA supr white Ok H3 fogs - use 55w + 30% Philips, you need to change Spade conn. to original bullit type. makes a big diff. Point to note the PIAs only last about a year or so. expensive at about £28 each, but easy to get. I tried ordering Uprated H3c's from States, at about £8 each, but did not work for very long, about 1min. The supplier reckoned they were damaged in transit, not packed very well. so after several replacements that also did not work, they gave a full refund! and stuck to PIA's
