I had a similar problem, my horn went off outside on its own, during a severe downpour. the car was parked half on the kerb, therefore leaning out. I have air horns so it was pretty load. I just ripped out earth wire till it stopped raining. When I re-connected it still went off and when I went to drive off car would not go above 2.5K and kept hunting! Power light started flashing indicating fault with gearbox! Some time later fault was traced to water ingress from drain outlet to targa roof in the 'A' pillar, split in plastic pipe wasletting water drip on main connector block by drivers door. Once dry and new plastic pipe installed all now OK, touch wood. This may be where your short is occuring??

J. spec. wheels are 7.5" wide. check with tyre manufacturer before putting wider than 225 tyres!

I think you need a LAN card ( local area network ) in each computer, so they can recognise each other and transfer data etc. I know you can share a printer this way.

How about those twats that dont use their MIRRORS, especially on Mways. there you are travelling at a nice even *** and out they come, you flash, hoot and then they look at you when you go by as if to say I did indicate!! so whats the problem. Just coming off the A34 onto A420 slip, Mecrc in mirrors about 10 car lengths behind. Floored it off the bout onto dual, merc still about 8 lengths behind, but coming on strong, oops whats this! Going around curve on inside at about 125 and he slides past real close and pulls in front! I keep with him untill we reach single carriage section, up to about 135. What was it..... E55 AMG, oh well! can't win em all A TT would have given a better run. Stiil not bad for a 12 year old datsun

I have driven a 355 with paddles at Loughborough, an airdrome track. Agree absolutely amazing. Also did a 512 no comparison, a lumbering heap round the twisty bits. Did this on one of thise Ferrari days, great worth every penny!:cool: :)

probably camber, can be adjusted, get it checked at a good tyre olace with one of those complete laser set up things. They have all the settings programmed in, and give you a nice print out of what your settings are against what it should be. Cost of correcting varies depending on whst they have to do. I paid £50 to get mine set up to spec., but with slight neg. camber, and this covers both front and rear. I used Protyre in Bristol. when they put new boots on.

B19rks, Great bargain. suggest you post on for sale with sticky so this dosent get buried for the future. We all need pads, diiscs from time to time. Let us know how pads perform etc.:) :)

Quality of print is all about pixels per inch/mm. It is genarally accepted that for good quality snaps/photos you need a reslolution of 300pix/inch. therefore for good print at say 6x4 this gives approx 2meg. So i reckon 2meg. should be min. preferably 3Meg. Print resolution is another thing, you should always print on the highest res. possible, say 1440dpi. min. There are of course variations and twists to the above, like using bicubic resampling to increase the pixel count and qaulity, a la PSP! Anyway I fully endorse Fuji cameras, easy to use etc. and I have one.

I bought a 2nd hand petrol jobby 6 years ago, suffolk punch, through local trade it paper. Great, still going. paid £45 for it. Make sure you get full service history! if you go 2nd hand. Severe maintenance schedule - change oil every year,check plug gap. Those sit on ones look good- Turbo maybe!

I still think its worth getting it checked out by specialist, they can also do a fluid change, now replacing ALL the fluid, instead of the usual partial drain and top up (normally cant drain torque converter insitu)

Honestly I believe it is electrical. Go to really good Autobox specialist with good diagnostics and experienced staff. tell them to check connections first - pin test etc. before they take it apart, could save you a lot of time and money. In fact that I think thats what the nissan manual says. I will try to find relevant bit.

you can check solenoids and brake band operation by dropping sump to autobox. Again this is what they did to mine and when found OK started to look at wiring. Get it checked at good autobox specialist. You never no your luck!

gts is as you say 2.5 litre. The others are 2.65 litre? diff. engine. The 2.5, I think not as strong, hence not used in higher performance versions. Senna's your man for this one?
