Bristol Zeds
Eric, sorry to see you wont be joining us. Rare opportunity to miss! To meet with other local Zedders and chat, get first hand advice etc. You wont have to travel too far either. Hope you change your mind when you see the sun shining. Still, if this one goes OK, I am sure we will have other local meets through the summer? Hope you get out and about soon

I want shiny exhausts
To get back on track, I use Comma Alloy wheel cleaner, comes with two brushes and sponge. I have used most of the others over the years, but local Parts shop had this on offer so tried it. Great, honest, just spray on wheels, exhaust, etc. quick scrub with brush and rinse off. Shiny wheels or exhaust. Best yet. The only down side is it smells horrible and is a bit pricey at about £9.00. Give the wheels a quick squirt before putting through car wash, gets wheels clean at same time and saves scrubbing afterwards.

Yep, Next door, but is raised, therefore not affected by the high water. The pubs and a few houses, plus boats are the only things down there!

Bagins, thanks for reply, hope to see you then, bound to be sunny! I was down there this Sunday for quiet drink with me Mut, GSD Natahan. Unfortunately the olde Lock and Weir was still shut, has not openend since last lot of flooding, however Chequers still going strong, but busy. Suggest all those that are coming, get there early, especially if you want food without too much of a wait. For those who dont know the location - see above replys for directions etc., there is plenty of parking and places to sit by the river. Hope to see lots of Zeds then.

Commitment? Not me...
Icecool, If you want something different its got to be a ZED. If you want a car that looks wonderfull get a ZED If you want a car that goes.... get a ZED If you want a car you can take the lid off when the sun shines get a ZED If you want a fast, superb road holding car that can take 4 people?, has a rear hatch, rear seats fold to give a fair load area get a ZED, see versatile to. Ive got an NA and use it every day, its what gets me up in the morning! I just love driving it. Come along on 23rd, you can certainly have a drive in mine and I expect somebody will give you a ride in aTT. Now as a comparison, I have not had a go in a Scooby or GTR, but I have driven Ferraris 355F1 , 348 and 512 all on tracks, they were all great, the 355 the best one, I would like one, but ££££. The ZED is pretty close on ride, feel, road holding, driving pos/comfort and some would say better looking, but most of all it is affordable fun! You pays yer money and makes yer choice?

FAO: Bristol Zeds: Where's the best place to get Zed serviced?
Dilbrain, yep still there, but changed its name to Smokey Joes. The Agro still spills out on to the streets most w/e's. K/W getting very cosmo now, with Restaurants /bars all down high street, which is now one way, so little traffic. memories eh!!

Hypothetical Crash.....
Just caught up with this one, I know its a bit late, but totally agree with Zimon on this one, the two cases give an equivalent impusle, which is the product of a force and the time for which it acts, i.e. impulse = change in momentum ( 50mph to zero) momentum is mass X velocity, as has already been said, therefore for equal mass and speed the impulse must be the same for both cases.

Joke!
Pasties, I sold all the pies!!!:p :p

Any time from 12.00, opening time. The end lane is quite narrow, but only for few hundred yards, ok with care. Delivery lorries manage OK and so do I. They have two quite large car parks, one unsurfaced which is by the river and the other you go through on the way down is tarmacced and OK. Plenty of room outside to sit around or if wet the bars are large as well. Food good, Sunday lunch and all that. Live bands sometimes not sure about sundays though. Access from most parts is good, if coming via M4 Motorway, use M32 jct.1 onto ring road to Longwell green then ask!!!!? no suggest you use link map. Look forward to seeing you all.
