  4. You have a valid claim, as they new about the problem. They must have somebody on site responsible for health and safety. As you say it could have landed on somebodies head!!! Write to them directly with your claim and include the costs of the repair, and point out the history, which you have only just become aware of. They have a duty of care to people and /or third parties using the fascillities.
  5. Anybody got a picture or diag of where and how to adjust this, as the squeek at start up is now seriously getting to me. Must do this at w/e.
  6. see for sale area for good deal on cheap pads etc.,
  7. Also when hold is selected you pullaway in 2nd gear.
  8. Try Kingsway auto electrical and A/C in Church Road, Redfield, the old 'panel on' place.
  9. I have this gurgling, but no cats as 91 import? drilling drain hole seems simplist solution?
  10. My cousin was until last year chaufer to Mick Jagger and went on tour with Rod Stewart. Hes told me a few stories!! Jerry must have been a very forgiving person? His job ended when he wrote a book called 'you can drive my car' Which immediately had an injunction put on it. It is out now but heavily watered down.

  18. Nippon - Yep jap import, as I said they, NU direct, have only recently changed to not penalising imports. I am over 50, just, full ncb. but have 7 points on licience, Wife on car too (2 claims + 3points), 12k mileage, buisness use, coutesy car etc. - good deal. Give them a ring, all done over the phone.
  19. I have just changed to NU direct, as they do not penalise imports anymore. Premium gone down to £389 with Pncb ( £750 last year) Worth a try!:D
  20. Jock - Restricting engine speed by locking lower gear. I Think not - lower gear means higher revs for any gived road speed. In difficult driving conditions - heavy rain, ice etc you should use highest gear possible, and short shift etc. and with an auto such as in the Zed put in hold which starts you off in 2nd.
  21. Jock- engines/gearboxs not really designed to do the braking on a constant high level of this type of use i.e. reverse forces. A lot cheaper to replace brake pads. Thats what they were designed for!
  22. Ray- that bits my name detinu- I am a MU supporter from way back 1962. and have been using that as a password since 1983, easy to remember.
  23. Just replaced mine too. 21inch Champion with spoilers on blade, work fine. X53 listed for 300zx Got them from local parts place at £7.50 each.
  24. you can now change all the ATF insitu, if specialist has the right gear. But if you have bits floating about, suugest you strip out TC to make sure they dont do any more damage!
