Dipped Bulbs
If you find cheaper H3C in the USA be warned, as I did. They cost about £8 each took about 7 days, but.......they did not work!!! Sent them back and they sent new ones these worked for about two minutes then blew! Obviously did not travel well, although overall packaging appeared OK, the bulbs could still move around in their little individual boxs. Anyway I did moan by E mail and did give me a refund. But not worth the hassle, just cough up the £££ for the PIAA ones and just plug and play.

Garages in Bristol Area
I dont think I would trust any body around here, go to Jeff TT nr Drayton, In fact make a day of it, Drayton Manor theme park is literally next door. And I am sure you will get a good deal, I did. If you really want it done in Bristol try QAS in Filton, I know they a absolutely brill with Autoboxs and electrics and have done a good job on mine in the past and other zeds and GTO's, but not sure about jobs like that. They are the main Green Flag operator in this area. Speak to John and ask if they done that sort of job before. Not cheap though, but when you are stuck with a no go gearbox and they sort in a few days, without replacing any parts but charge you £300 what can you say. That was 18 months , running OK since.

Zed on TV

Auto Gearbox problems!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yep, sounds like the brake bands to the clutchs are going. Was the fluid dark sort of browny colour rather than a clear red. If it is then they have been braking up for some time. Sorry but sounds expensive. If you took it to autobox specialist they should Know what it is?

300ZX.CO.UK Club Poll
I do not think forming a club has much of a chance if only 50% of the paid up members have bothered to vote and 10% of those say NO! There already is the Z club, so I pressume those that wanted to join a club have already joined them. IF Andrew et al really want to turn it into a club then of course they can, but it will only survive if with lots of enthusiatic members willing to participate in events, news letters, artricles and lots of benefits, or of course it could become a small exclusive club that would rely on the dedicated few and would become too clique!if it kept going for very long. Keep it as it is I say, with the informal meets and the bigger get togethers as and when. You can still ask for subscriptions to join as now and top ups every two or three years fron registered members as necessary. Just my thoughts. This forum is great as it is and should not get formal, with rules, codes of coduct, etc. in fact too anal!

Mp3
Went to the market today and got a great deal? Top 59 albums on a single DVD ( 78 cd's worth) for a tenner! Been sampling for last 5 hours - will make mp3 cd's for the car next. Great idea for parties though as you can put it on the dvd player ( that plays MP3's, most do now) linked to hi-fi or surround sound and select album or track index from display on TV, so anybody can be the DJ! at the press of a button. Just thought I would share the moment!!!! so to speak.

300zx forum members
It was worse than I feared, after Matty's post. It should not have happened and has done damage to the forum. The hooligan element I am afraid and very immature. My sympathies are with you Jeff and your daughter, your work and advice is always appreciated and I hope you will continue to give it on this Forum. I also hope those responsible are ashamed of themselves and will be held to account.

Using The AA to transport my Z...??
I am surprised you need to take it all the way to Zedworld for those sort of problems. JeffTT (zedworld) is good for specialist areas tuning, setups, Belt change etc. I have used him for belts and service, but it is a long way to go, unless you combine with a day out at Drayton Manor which is next door, which I did, great fun! I have used several good ones around here ( Bristol) for run of the mill stuff. Such as Protechnical in Nailsea- specialist in all jap cars especially imports. QAS in Filton, brilliant at all things electrical and autobox's I am sure they could sort out power steering probs. And any reasonable garage can do the brake pads. I use Motormend in Kingswood for all my 'normal ' servicing.
