  2. I think you could be right as the rears are adjustable for both canber and tracking!
  3. easy15K-17K, slightly less on front due to wearing on inner edge.but grip is the thing. rated at AA traction 280wear. so not bad for the money. nice tread pattern, with wheel protector strips on walls
  4. Cured mine by going down to Harrys and getting some valve lifter lub, cost about £4, all at the suggestion of JeffTT, and low and behold it worked. no sewing machine noise. took about 150 miles to go through, but been fine for last 3K. worth a try before spending hundreds on replacing them at about £25/each?
  5. Ive always used 451's till last renewal, now have 452's on rear, great grip/wear. paid £138/pair fitted and balance at local falken dealer down here in sunny, no wet cornwall.
  6. you can put air horns on, fitted mine behind off side indicator lights, plenty of room and spare holes for bracketsetc. just link up wiring from original horn and upgrsde fuse to 20amps.
  7. Private sale, even worse with an auction. I believe there is no legal come back at all!! Caveat Emptor rules im afraid. The only thing is to appeal to his sense of responsibility and fairness!!??

  14. Look what some b*st*rd has done to my car ( see photo ). Probably my estranged wife! Wish I had put in the garage that night. Going to be a few weeks as parts need to be sourced from Nissan. Still insurance ( NU direct ) has given me a car, new Zafira. thinking of ways to get even!

  16. Try again for local meet down here!? :smash: Went WSM great turnout there. I dont expect the same for down here, but we are a bit more exclusive! Found a new Zed owner in Tesco car park (Brian), nice G reg. silver TT import, directed him to the site and watch for meets etc. So any w/e soon, suggestions for location, Newquay at easter? 16th April

  19. RTTS in March?, dont want to wait that long before some of us meet up. Zclub have a meet at WSM on the 12th Feb. may go to that if no takers for a more local meet down here. How about a few going up to that together?
  20. Well its a new year and My Zed is still going?not sure about me though! Time to think of a meet down here again some time soon. I mean maybe March'ish. so we can drum up enough support and perhaps draw some zeders from further afield. Any takers, suggestions for dates, locations etc. It will be ok if just a few us locals want to meet up for a pint one weekend. :duffer: :hyper:
  21. Cheers Andy, Thats about what I thought, build date that is Happy Xmas
  22. Andy, Would you mind checking mine. chassis No. is GZ32 011977

  24. Had noisy tapets for about a year, and was going to get them redone with the help of a remortgage, but Jeff at Zedworld said try the noisy tappet additve from harry halford. well bless my soul if it didnt just do the trick, not straight away though. Put the whole bottle in and after a couple weeks, ( dont use that often now ) noise gone!! quiet as a mouse. Worth trying if you have the same problem. I did it just afte an oil change, so may have to add again on next change but so far so good. :hyper:
