Whats that tiny fan for ,at the top left of the inside of the car in the middle of the tbar where the interior light is?

 

mine makes an annoying noise.... ahhhhh

 

and my aircon and climate control doesnt work would that have anything to do with it?

 

my heating only comes out hot and not cold???/

This is the fan that sucks air into the temp sensor for the climate control.

 

If you pull it down you can fiddle with it/tighten it up so that the noise dissapears...

yeah i tried to fix the noise before but it didnt wor actually made it worse

Heater only blowing hot usually points to one of the duct temp sensors being disconnected. They are located just under the dashboard and run across to the doors :)

LOL it kinda helps mate when I work on these things every day for a living ;)

 

It will be one of the sensors disconnected more than likely. If you look above where your legs go under the dash you will see some greyish plastic ducts that run from the centre to the outside. On top in the middle of these you will see a wire coming out - check its connected :)

yep i checked the connectors they sen to be on, but i do have a few things disconnected which i dont know what they are they were behind the speedo and i pulled them down, one was these blue wires with two connectors on the end duno where they go... and the other is a big connector which is quite long god knows where they go.

 

mind you when i bought the car i found in my glove compartment a little black box with a place for a connector to go and a little metal bracket on it. maybe this has something to do with it???

wd40 should sort noisy fan?

regasing? yeah i tried wd40 the actual fan has play in it ah wel. will have to cope witht the noise.

replace fan/ sensor unit, cant be that expensive, try andyzed at supercarparts.
