installed a new set of HIDS today as my old set failed, but now the side lights dont work, please help me as i will need them mot time, they did work with my previous kit thought... is there a way to get them to work. its a jap spec car, so side lights are in the fog light section.

Hi guys, i really need to get this nocking from the back sorted, im told its just some worn bushes in the suspension and its not important but its driving me mad in an otherwise perfect car! what exactly do i need and where from???? cheers Dom

as above lol last one, do I need a puk clutch to handle 400bhp wont be going over that mark. was gong to get jeffs uprated clutch not puk, he said its 25% uprated so whats that 375bhp is the limit. all I will be doing is decat and a zedworld chip alreaday got induction kit so may not even make 400bhp lol. cheers mark

Just stripped out the passenger footwell on my breaker and there were 2 more small ECU's as well as the main Hitachi one. Just wondered what they were for?

Do these work in our cars got some software on phone that reads a bluetooth odb2 - just from what I remember our cars dont support it. ta

My previous owner to my car was A MR Alan Sneddon from SP4 and before that it was a mrs joyce from PO12 Portsmouth, eg is G449 YDV, didnt get much info when i baught it in may last year, woundred if anyone could help me?, Started woundering when i took the front bumper etc of a couple weeks ago and found this: like it had a little bump! but the bumper etc looks mint not apprant evidence of a respray. after forgetting my mot was due last week i had the pleasure today of getting a phone call from the tester to say the car had gone through with flying colours . thats 2 years running now shes gone straight through . not bad for a 21 year old supercar . :clap: the thing that surprised me most was the emissions result CO% 0.823 HC 146 these seem really low to me . a lot lower than last year . i did put new O2 sensors in a while back . would these be the reason for the low readings ive just checked the old mot for the mileage and shes only done 933 miles in the last 12 months

I know my last Z was 500bhp and a manual but I finally got to drive the new one Saturday after 5 months and tbh I was a little disappointed. It felt quite slow, had it on conzult and no faults/ all readings ok, new plugs. What else can I check as I'm sure it should be quicker even thought it's an auto?

My alarm kept going off last night at around 1.30am,not good!!-it's a Toad ai606 I think.The siren seemed to chirp strangely then off it went!-all I could do was cut the siren wires,now it should have battery back-up but only lasted about 10 secs and died??-so if the siren battery is fooked,could it set off the Alarm?? and are the batteries changeable/ Ta,:thumbup:

Can u help ?????? I want a private plate for me zed. Its on a G plate and i want some suggestions on what plate i could hav??? Well my initials are LRE so i thought of N300 LRE but the problem is it starts with a N and me car is on a G but i want something that go's????? If u know what i mean

How do you get the engine to line up with the mounting bolts? I can only get the drivers side one lined up but the pass side is a good inch away and goes on the inner side of the engine mount meaning the bolt is missing the hole :angry: I spent 5 hours yesterday trying to get the engine in but no matter what I tried it will not line up properly. I was thinking it must be a bit uneven when being lowered in. So today I bought a load leveller and have spent another 4 hours trying to get the ******* in, but it still won't go with exactly the same results :censored: I can't see what I'm doing wrong or why the f**ker won't go in properly. I've tried searching, but had no luck. I've been trying for the past three hours to change my alternator belt, but as usual nothing seems straightfoward. I got the alternator belt loosened enough to remove. But I need to remove the power steering pump belt to do so. This is where I'm stuck. I've loosened what I need to loosen to get the belt loose, and it's slightly looser than it was before. The problem is that I can't get the belt any looser! The tension adjuster is only about halfway along the bit where it slides (where the 12mm bolt is in the pic below), and something is preventing it from going further. Been having a sort out at my lock up shelved and labeled some stuff up, belive it or not i have 3 broken cars stashed away on these shelves, 3 engines, doors, glass, intercoolers, ecus, just about 3 of everything!!, enough to keep me going for a while nowts for sale yet , I will leave that for Zed world and Baz stores, but thought youd like to see :shifty:

Just having a big clear out from my lock up, I have 2 front TT bumpers and a rear bumper as in the pics, they are rough and have some splits in them, they are getting thrown away if nobody wants them and I cant be bothered selling them on e-bay pick up is prefered as they will be a nightmare to wrap and expensive to post

Can you buy the nozzle / tips on there own? I need to spray some u-pol reface filler and require a minium of a 2.5mm tip. Ive got 3 sray guns now (1.4mm) and peed that looks like I have to buy another gun just to get a bigger nozzle.

Good thing the weather is better as in the last week or so i have seen 6 zeds around!! :cool3: Now thats not normal because i normally dont see more then 2 or 3 in a whole year! :sad: Anyone else been spotting more zeds lately or am i just a lucky sod with a good eyesight :p

Saw the car today when i was doing my deliveries at Hammersmith college. Black 300zx stock except exhausts and front seats..from what i could tell. Did have zclub stickers on it...so i left him a note under his wiper to join 300zx.co.uk :p Oh at it had a baby seat in the back seat!!!! Pic:
