Is there a parts list available anywhere. Looking for several parts now.... One thing I want is the part number for the screws and blocks that hold the windscreen scuttle panels in place. Cheers

I bought a set of series 4 clocks from Ianl :thumbup1: mainly just for the circuit sheet but it turns out the best purchase I have made in a while. I have made one perfect one out of the two I had and I found these LED's and was totally surprised as I did not know that these even existed. These pcb's sit underneath and shine light back onto the display. The four bulbs shine through these holes or cut outs, a light diffuser is in each one which I have removed on the finished article but I may put back in at a later date, suck it and see. Couldn't use the one from Ian as there was damage on the screen so I had to use mine, I was too afraid to seperate the plas…

I painted the plenum on my TT when I took the engine out, but now I dont like it lol. So removed the plenum off my spare engine, did the water bypass and started polishing it up. After seeing recent plenums such as dazvert's and groover's I thought it was the only way to go  Its a long and painful process but I'm getting there :w00t: takes forever

  11. So went to get a new tyre valve fitted (as it was leaking) and also get my tracking done as she's pulling to the left... So off to National Tyres and Autocare who I've used many times in the past. First the guy couldn't disarm the alarm / immobiliser to start the car, so ok...I go out and explain this and he starts the engine and drives in. About 5 - 10 mins later the guy explains he cant get the wheel off, as they don't have a socket small enough to fit around the nut (which is fair enough, as the space around the nut is simply too small to fit normal sockets in, but this IS a garage!), so I give him a socket I borrowed from my dad, perhaps the only socket…

Im really chuffed, a mate of a mate works in a bodyshop and does private cars on a weekend for himself, he is a perfectionist and does some top work. If i buy the paint, which he will get trade anyway, he will spray the car, in 2k in a booth and baked for £400 :clap: cheap? hell yeah. I couldnt buy all the stuff to do it for that price and certainly wouldnt have a booth to do it in, so the finish would have been no where near what i would want. Im going to have a meet in the next week or so to go over the car with a fine toothcomb, but cant wait. Im thinking of getting it done the first week in August, which gives me time to get the new engine and box in…

I used to have a TT (auto) and I found it pretty impractical for living in London. I only really got the turbo happening properly on straight motorway type roads and the car always felt like it wanted to 'go' more round town which I found frustrating if I'm honest. I know there is a big difference in power but is the N/A still a 'good drive' and fun?
