It fell out the front of my headlight when I had the glass off for cleaning. Can't say for sure but I think it fell out of the mainbeam side. Have a feeling its something to do with the adjustment of the beam.....

Ok, I had noticed a slight random misfire at idle...but wasn't overly concerned, not yet. However, a few times now from starting the engine (only noticed when hot so far), when I pull away the engine misses badly, only firing on 5 cylinders I think. This only lasts about 20 seconds, then its fine (though the random misfire at idle remains). This is starting to annoy me and I'm worried a bigger problem looms. I hate misfiring over all car problems. I've just looked at the coil connections, they look ok. I haven't pulled plugs yet. This the first car where I've had individual coil packs for each plug, so this is new to me. Are these symptoms fam…

i did look in the faq's but cant find anything, i've been going over my new zed with a fine tooth comb looking for what i can swap/ need to fix or replace. and have found that it still runs the std oil cooler (jap auto) but my red one has a mocal oil cooler and the std one is the auto box cooler, is their any write ups on how to fit one of these id like to swap it over to the new zed i was thinking i might just remove it from my red one and ask zedworld to fit it for me if they do the cam belt and service? its fairly std is running it as is doing any real harm for normal road use? only temporarily. still cant find my missing smoked indicator lo…

Hi All, Had a quick search but couldn't find much. I'm planning on getting a Stack oil temp, oil pressure and boost gauge - the cheaper mechanical or electrical ones. Any advise on the pros and cons such as ease of installation etc? Thanks, Tom

Hi, posted a while ago in the Club Membership and Enquiries but I dont think many people read that :) Its an app for your smartphones (Apple, Android, Symbian) that allows you to read (properly) the club forum. Any chance of getting the coding added to here so we can use it? It would mean a more active forum as most of us are restricted at work as to what we can view/post. Cheers Im sure there are plenty of people who could testify/back me up as to what a good app it is and how well it works.

Morning all Resubscribed, the Wife had serious words with me about advertising my car, and the upshot is, I cant go through with it. I absolutely love the look of the car, even trying to convince my wife it has a nicer rear end than the white 2007 Lamborghini Gallardo we saw yesterday - lol. Ive removed it from ebay, and Im gonna see how money goes so I can start sorting out the little bits that niggle me. I met a really nice chap who is now on this forum (Sean?) who came round to view car (even took his shoes off to get in!), who I guess as hes local I'll be seeing more of in future. Sean, When you pick up a zed youre more than welcome to pop round mate for c…

Ok well I just went out for a drive in the car for the first time in 7 months since I had all the work done to her and im getting vibration when I exceed 40mph from the middle of the car. I'm sure it has something to do with the prop because I had a brand new centre bearing fitted and before the work was done it only knocked a bit when pulling off and never vibrated when moving. Could it be a prop balancing issue? I can only feel vibration coming from the centre of the car near the armrest and not from the steering wheel although when you creep up in speed the whole car vibrates obviously.

Ok so when I bought my car, I was told it had uprated turbos and that they were turned right down (I assumed adjustable actuator), 0.4bar was what he told me, he also didn't know what they were and reckoned he'd spent thousands on the engine, which I don't believe, because half of it is tacked together really poorly I'm now finding out. I finally fitted a boost gauge last week before the car came off the road and nailed it a few times, aside from a few boost spikes which I reckon means I've got a leak somewhere, the needle seemed to sit somewhere between 0.4 and 0.5. I've also noticed, that the car doesn't seem to boost much, until really late on in the acceler…

Hi all, Have a listen to this clip on youtube. It is exactly what I am hearing on my own Zed. Saves me recording a video :) There are two sounds in the video, first the higher pitched faster tapping which has a regular rhythm but behind it there is a slower knocking kind of noise. The later is what I am concerned about. Is this the hydraulic lifters I've herd about of is it something worse developing? cheers, jay...

Evening guys and gals, Just wondering if anyone has had any experiences with getting Alloys refurbed in Wiltshire? I've been through a few websites but would prefer to get personal experiences rather than go by their own hype. My wheels have no major damage, just slight kerbing on two of the wheels and they also have some of the lacquer peeling. Would rather drive somewhere and leave the car hence why I'm trying to keep it local. Cheers for any input! Dave
