Is it the spigot bearing I've heard people mention? it is cracked but what does it do and does it 'need' changing?

Also got a rear crank seal from smithy but didnt check into part numbers etc, where does it fit?! its not as big as the rear main seal I was expecting :(

Meh might as well chuck everything on one thread lol, fished out my knock sensor to relocate it, but the body is cracked, is it worth changing or does the outer shell of it do naff all anyway?

Picture one, is the spigot bearing, you will need to change this. it helps guide the shaft for the gear box matey. £5 from nissan.

Picture two, run the part number and see what comes up

Picture three, not sure but considering how cheap they are, you may as well replace it and not have to worry.

Clean the terminal on the knock sensor, check it for continuity with a multimeter,if its ok then re use it.The bakealite is usually cracked on them.

thanks Jimmer I'll get it checked out tomorrow. I do have a spare couple but was going to make a couple of 'relocation kits' with all the bits in and offer them out to the masses. And if theres nowt wrong with mine I'd gladly re-use it. :thumbup1:
