Anthonyd Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 I know my last Z was 500bhp and a manual but I finally got to drive the new one Saturday after 5 months and tbh I was a little disappointed. It felt quite slow, had it on conzult and no faults/ all readings ok, new plugs. What else can I check as I'm sure it should be quicker even thought it's an auto? Quote
Yowser Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Boost pressure with Aftermarket gauge Compression test You could even try some 0-60mph , 0-100mph timed tests to check if it is slow or just in your mind. Quote
vodkashots Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 check your right foot. make sure its reaching the correct pedal, if all else fails, get a heavier boot. Quote
Quavey Posted May 9, 2011 Posted May 9, 2011 Take the shit out of the boot and go on a diet... Autos do feel fairly slow, I never thought mine was particularly quick. They are quite refined in a way, smooth power delivery or more relentless power delivery as they dont drop boost through the gears. Sit it at 10- 15mph and floor it, it'll kickdown into first and then it'll show you its true colours! Quote
Car.Mad Posted May 10, 2011 Posted May 10, 2011 It cannot be as slow as the driver :tt2::lol::lol: Quote
