My previous owner to my car was A MR Alan Sneddon from SP4 and before that it was a mrs joyce from PO12 Portsmouth,

eg is G449 YDV, didnt get much info when i baught it in may last year, woundred if anyone could help me?,

 

Started woundering when i took the front bumper etc of a couple weeks ago and found this:

like it had a little bump! but the bumper etc looks mint not apprant evidence of a respray.

 

When i baught it last year i didnt know too much about these as all i had owned before really was rover 220 coupe's loved em to bits but got fed up of the F*****g things breaking, 3 gearboxes 2 head gaskets etc....

 

lovely cars tho but not as good as me Z

Shamefully i didint find out about cam belt and its now at 100,000km, currently off road and not using it there much to a 60 k service?

also when on vosa and got all the past MOT info, looks like it was off the road for a while

between 2007-2009?

I'm sorry I can't help either - but on the surface your car looks like a nice example. And I do like the pearl white!!

 

As you're kind of in the midlands, I'd suggest getting your car to Jeff and co at Zedworld for a thorough going over.

 

Since it's 20 years old now, you'd have to expect some paint/body repairs etc at some point in its life. But if you're worried then at least Jeff will give your car a proper appraisal.

Will he do a check over then? also does anyone know how much would it be?

you are quite an interesting one CBVD. who 'just' takes off their front bumper.

I have simliar, but quite happy to accept, crunched front left. causes me no more concern than really minor pressure to keep it from steering left.

The Jeff thing seems to be a fave on this forum. He does the cambelt with the check. If you are car enthusiatic, lets say, you dont need that journey.

Drive it around. Breathe. use your ears. accept RWD is not like FWD. your turbo's will act like every turbo in history. Read. do what you can. dont do what you can't.
