2000 celica headlights on a 300zx with a veilside body kit? Some people would kill me if I ever thought of putting a rotary into a ZX lol, I was thinking about it, then people convinced me not to.

I have been a happy owner of my second z for quite some time now. I now face a problem....... my girl keeps borrowing it!!! Why oh why oh why did i insure her!!! Not content with an MR 2 turbo (yeah yeah hairdressers car!!!!) she now wants a z of her own!!!!!!!!!! Should i let her sell the MR 2 and buy one or would that be the ultimate sin?????????? ps. i paid for the toyota so the 300 would b mine!!!! pps. give us your views am i being a big softie??? Hi everyone, I've got a nasty problem with my Z (90 NA SWB). I stopped in the road earlier today and the engine suddenly cut out! I tried starting it again and it wasn't having it. I went to find some help (I was outside a TVR garage!) and when I got back it started straight away. 10 minuets later I was driving around a supermarket car park and it happened again! Couldn't start it for another 15 mins. Pushed it on my own to a parking space and called the AA. 10 mins later it started again but then cut out after I'd left it running for a while. The bloke from the AA said that the plugs were stopping sparking after it was warmed up. It's now at the Niss…

AAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGGGGHHHHH! No thats not my pirate impression!!! I ve got a problem.... recently with the increase in rainfall (bummer!!!) i have noticed a gargly sound, as if water is building up somewhere. This is my second z and i never had the problem before. Please help me, its really embarrassing... my car has a wind problem!!!!!!!!!

Got a 1986 BMW 2.7i Alpina for sale. Its got a full genuine M-tech bodykit, lowered, de-locked and de-badged,17" rims with low profiles, fully rebuilt engine and gearbox...only done 2000 miles since rebuild. Full respray. ok, i need some expert help here guys.. please..... cylinder no.3 [back left as you look at engine] is dead. ive tried a new coil/changin coils around , ive also tried a new spark plug and tried changin them around. so it appears to not be one of these faults. the car has no other problems except this no.3 cylider is dead - and also it cuts out some times and stalls ? someone has suggested that it may be the PTU that is not operating properly - does anyone think this may be the case? does anyone have one that I could borrow/buy to test if it is the PTU? or does anyone have any other ideas what may be the problem? im goin to get my garage to do a compres…

I'm kinda between Brum and Cov - so I have to hold my breath a lot 2) Where do you get your spares from? Specialist scrappy, Nissan, imported or are the dealers in the links from this site the best bet? Evening all, Are there any fitting diagrams or instructions with the kit or are we just suppose to know where it goes! Because i've been told the connections & bits must be 100% sealed. As i & there must be a few others that arn't that knowledgeable on pipes & stuff. As most of us saw warrens at the rolling road day, the new mods that have been carried out since a mistake in manufacure on the pipwork as i've read in the updates!!! got the starter motor off today and it turns out that one side of the mounting has just cracked off and the other side, the bolt had loosened it self, so the starter motor was just hanging off. I phoned a few breakers yards and no one has the starter motor, so I have tried to glue it together with some metal compound - fingers crossed and my Z will be back on the round. Just wandering if anyone has ever had to buy a brake master cylinder for a jap import tt. Cos i am having BIG problems getting the right one from Courtesy Nissan. I am now on the 2nd one and it is still not right. They now recon they cant get one. Just wandering if there is a left and right hand drive version available, because the pipes that go in to it are on the wrong side. Any info including part no. will be gratefully accepted. Paul.

Do any of you know where i can check a VIN number online, i've just had a car checked buy plod and they told me that it could be stolen. But they are not sure! As it does have the original VIN number. They said it is on the interpol stolen register. But it is actualy stolen recovered in Japan. Plod have told me i can't drive it or sell it until further notice. Any help would be appriciated.

I have read somewhere on the forum that if you increase the line pressure on an auto box you can get a faster gear change. Is this true and if so has anyone done it or how easy is it to do. Is there any adverse affects. Sounds good if it works. Any help most appriciated. Tim

Just a quick one to ask..... does anyone know anyone or is someone who has any hks bits for sale??? Second hand is fine as long as the merchandise is not damaged. I really need an hks duel or super dragger exhaust system, hks blow off valves, a turbo timer, ans an hks induction kit. CHEERS!!!!!!!!!

After another week sat in the garage having my front suspension and wheel bearings done as well as few other bits and pieces got the car back with a nice hefty bill, so nobody is getting any christmas presents this year. Btw does anybody know a good alloy refurber in the north around derbyshire/Sheffield mine look shite at the moment. it's been raining hard for over a month now, but suddenly I have water dripping in at the front t top join to the roof... checked rubber and seems okay but little confused to front drainage - on back holes I get thread wire down to floor under car but the front holes only have a 3mm depth... How does the front drainage work then? Cheers Robb

I own a 91 Z auto. It has several performance modifications already. I just wondered if you could fit blow off valves or not? is the principle still the same as a manual? will they still work the same? and also any suggestions on what sort? oh yeah and do u have to fit 2 because it is a v6?
