Hiya All I had a problem with a metallic squeaky noise coming from the O/S/F wheel, I thought i had it sorted when I had the wheel bearings changed, but no it's still there. All the bushes have been changed, and I've had the brakes stripped down 2 times, does anybody have any ideas what this may be, even the guy at the garage is lost for what it may be. The noise can only be heard upto about 40mph, it seems to be in proportion to the speed of the wheel, it sound like a high piched metal on metal squeak, and if you apply the brakes they give out a very high piched squeak for a very small amount of time. Any idea's??? Cheers JOHN

Was going to invest in a set of R33 brembos, but got tempted by the TC group buy and spent the wedge that I had put a side for the brakes. Now as I still intend to do a bit of stopping now and again, do I upgrade to s/s hoses, greenstuff pads (or similar) and dot 5 fluid in the very near future and forget about the brembos, or will I always regret not having them and end up buying them in the future. The car is a 91 jap TT with HKS boost control, exhaust and intake. Thanks in anticipation Mark

Hi guys, following on from many threads about speccy camera`s etc,Made a hasty return home from France this morning (1:00am) anti-clockwise on the M25 from Dartford crossing to M1 North,Question can these things distinquish No. plates in the dark? The wife`s Ford Focus was zipping along very well and seemed a shame to loose the momentum once it was going, but every bridge or gantry had me thinking so kept tucking behind other cars. But had a thought do they view from behind as well? Got to say actually did not see any or was it just too dark? Jeff TT (In need of reassurance)

my 1990 Z has had the EGR and AIV valves removed. I now want to get rid of the solenoid valves that go with them. Both these valves are in front of the bulkhead in the corner on the drivers side, but there is also a small black plastic box, about the size of a matchbox, that has an electrical connector and also a vacuum tube. This tube runs to a T-piece in the AIV vaccuum line going to the balance tube. With me so far? If I remove the solenoids and the black box will it upset anything else? Also what is the black box? Cheerz.

Andy, Further to your offer of installing the TC for me so that you can get to play in a manual can I take you up on that offer? I'm happy to attempt it myself but would feel more confident with someone who actually knows what they are doing within panic distance. She's going in for an MOT on the morning of the 21st December, but anytime after that would be handy. I can either come to you or you are more than welcome to come and use our heated workshops, if that's any enticement. Cheers Ajay.

I have the A to ZX pdf file. They claim they will prosecute any one caught distributing it so I could not possibly send it to any one who emailed me saying they want it.

Went to B&Q last night and saw some doors rather a bargain really so i thought i'll replace the doors upstairs, Ah i'm in the Z. No worries - 4 78x30" doors straight in & i could drive pretty sound. She ate humble pie on my return. Just a quicky, you know the hold on the auto box - i have been advised this was forpulling caravans, that must be bullshit as i can't see the japs pulling caravans in a z can you. Would i be right in saying its for poor icy snowy wheather conditions?
