What happened? I explained. Where was it? Told them. What is the damage? Told them. I explained to them that it would not be a good idea to use one of their recommended repair places. They told me to obtain a quote for a spoiler and they will organise my windscreen replacement. I did tell them to hold fire though as I want to see how much it costs first because there would be no point losing a years no claims and paying the excess. They said no problems, just call them when I get a quote. Am pleasently suprised by their attitude. So how much for a new spoiler (with break light) made of fibreglass, fitted and all the gubbins? …

The car is in today for her 60k service and a few other bits and bobs. The mechanic has reported back to me that my air con pump is seized Does anyone know where I can aquire one cheap as I don't want to shell out for a new one? Cheers Martin

Do you know where i can get sensors etc. from. By the way there was a fog lamp in the boot, looks like just been removed and two small hole wher it was attached to bumper. hat does this mean?

From advise on this forum that i am very greatful of. i have discovered my speed sensor & ecu coolant sensor are shagged, would anybody know where i can get replacements from. I'm assuming they aren't that hard to change! Thanking ya well in advance

I watched Jeremy Clarkson's top 100 cars over the weekend. The tit had put the 300zx at number "94"!!!. Just a picture they showed of it and he said; "despite it's girth and soggy suspension I had to include the nissan 300zx because it was such a superb car to drive"!!!. A few consolations though, he had the ferarri 360 and porsche 911 behind it, and the supra was not even included. I like Clarkson but his videos seem to be getting worse!!!! Chaps and Chapetts, Some feckers had a pop at me car in a carpark yesterday, not impressed, no damage as such but they tried to get in through the boot (WTF!?!) they tried to lift it using the spoiler whilst picking lock (no damage) or tried to take the spoiler off one or the other, anyway my spoiler is coming away from the car, I need a new one and I have a chip on my windscreen too, reckon it's worth going through the insurance, criminal damage? I pressed panic alarm from about 70 yards away and they took off, I wish I would have been a bit more relaxed about it and run up to the feckers and floored them, would have wiped the floor with the little gits! …

Hi guys! Having an aromatic time at the mo!!!!! When the car is just started after its been sat for a while I get about 3mins of quite intense petrol smell then its gone! I would obviously think I got a leak some place but apart from dumpin' a fag under the bonnet to find it I haven't been able to see where its comin' from! I think I read something in here about a fuel smell in a previous topic but I cant remember what was said or what caused it! Any ideas,weak areas in the fuel system I should head towards or anyone get the same thing? Cheers guys!

by changing the speed sensor on the g/box would this then cure my mph clock not working as well as correct my heavy steer problem. Do you no where i could obtain both these sensors (speed and ecu coolant) Thx again

My front bumper has been damaged too many times (91 UK TT). Instead of shelling out another £175 to get it plastic welded I fancy a change. I know there are lots of different styles out there, but I'd like to keep it 'kinda' original. Anyone know where I can get a copy of the 99 Style front bumper? Thanks in advance.

I've only had the 300 for 2 weeks and some strange things are happening. Its a jap 92 n/a import 2+2. I really hope somebody can point me in the right direction as i love this car but quickly becoming disheartened with these funny goings on. 1. when i break the visual lights on sign on the dash lights up. 2. my power keeps going heavy, this can be rather dangerous. 3. my mph speedo has stop working. 4. Damn I tried NOS octane boost in my daily driver, 1998 Toyota Camry, and I can say Nitrous Methane really helped lol I actually peeled out on the camry o_O, in which I've never been able to do before, and after you floor it the Camry gives me a slight push into my seat, but this kept the push going for another 2 seconds, I'm damn impressed, I've used other octane boosters before but this tops the cake 7octane increase over the usual 3 or 4, on the bottle it says "for racing purposes only" I've already bought another bottle for the Z, wonder if i'll be able to feel the difference, and anyone try the thing called Nitro Power? claimed to make 25 extra hp o…

Hi Z fans! Got a nasty screeching noise last night, I thought it was slipping fan belt. But disaster struck on my way home. Came back down the M5 at 10mph, any acceleration resulted in grinding noises from the area of the auto-transmission. Engine is as peachy as ever, but I think the auto transmission is shot. I've not checked the fluid for months, so I'm afraid it may be my own stupid fault.... Anyone able to confirm my suspicions? Maybe someone may know a source for an AT, should it transpire I need one? Hi Guy's What makes an autobox slip!!!!. If i drive along at low revs in high gear and try to accelerate, it slips like buggery. This box has just been re-conditioned!!!! 12 months warranty etc, need some info to chuck back at the bullshit they are most likely to give me when i take it back tomorrow. Cheers Dave.
