What is it about these cars?
And the suppliers we deal with?
Every single little problem turns into a
fucking nightmare, once again my car is off
the road, Why? because it failed it`s mot
due to worn tie rod bushes, i saw it coming,
and ordered new poly bushes 5 weeks ago from a specialist supplier well known to this forum, i am not naming names but we all use
these companies who have direct links from
this page.
Credit card bill arrived last week debited with the cost of my order placed 5 weeks ago,
i am now paying interest for parts that i have not received and are not even
in the country yet!!
Where else can and do people take the piss
to such a degree? I can just imagine the reaction from my customers if i attempted to
charge them for goods not yet supplied.
I am of course protected by the consumer credit act (goods paid for not received)
but thats not the point, upon ordering i was
told to expect delivery in 2 weeks, this would have been fine as far as the mot was
concerned, but no, the car now sits and waits and so do I!
We all rip the piss out of Nelson me included
but when i went there in the summer for a
top radiator hose, not only was the hose delivered at exactly 11am the following morning as promised, but the woman behind the service reception actually took 10 minutes to explain to me the best way of fitting etc i was well impressed!
As for the Millenium Momo steering wheel boss
i ordered in April, little did i know that i
would be fitting this to the car at the next
millenium!!
I suppose the parcel was sent Fed Ex and was
on the same airplane as Tom Hanks ala Castaway.
Yours truly pissed off tonight
Ian.
