Big thanks to Johnny! He really does walk on water that guy...I did notice fresh fish on his work tops in his kitchen and that Jesus robe was a dead give away to be honest! Cheers mate As you may have guessed I and the Boy Wonder were up at J-Glos today. He's the best(without sounding like a complete arse licker) and what a day Had to get Az's window from a dodgey scrappies in Manc Land and then onto Johnny boys. Pukka Soup parked outside, eerrrrrr, well pukka Soup to be honest! Johnny even met us at the Shell station to get us to his place. Then proceeded to allow me to empty his display case of goodies. I can only say this, that guy works …

I don't want to start the old Auto vs. Manual thing off again so let's get that straight from the outset!!!!!! But I've spoken to a few guys who are technically worthy of advice today and the fact of the matter is this... Z auto boxes aren't upto it! Plain and simple! Not just Z's, Supra Autos are the same, hey the Autos can't take the power. If you wanna go the 400 bhp + route or even less then the standard auto box is gonna crumble big time in a short period of time! I've been converted, what more can I say? Just my opinion by the way so don't take it personally I love my Auto for what it does, lazy driving basically and I'll stay with …

Hiya my car keeps pulling to the left, spotted that the passenger side tyre is wearing on the inside edge only, supposedly had the tracking done at ATS, could this cause the problem, have done a pad change to eliminate the calipers etc, cheers Jon.

FWIW I read about this book on Z31, it has loads of styling info, aftermarket parts, bodykits etc.. Well I went to a Japanese book shop today and found a copy. It really is amazing to see so many products on offer. Every conceivable part: alloys, performance clutches etc..etc. Loads of colour pictures too. All products are made my 300 specialist companies in Japan. I didn't buy it in the end cause a) Its in Japanese b) It was 23pds. However, if your really serious about modding then this is definatly worth considering. All you need is a Japanese speaker to order you the goodies. If anyone wants a copy I can let you know where to find it…

Although it's now 5K late I'm sorting out the 60,000 ml service. I am intending changing the following: Cam Belt Water pump Thermostat Is there anything else that should really be changed/renewed at this time? I have looked at the Courtesy 'kit' and spoken to Darren who thought that most of it was unnecessary. Any comments gratefully recieved. Cheers guyz Tim

As a follower of this club with very special intrest as i have done a lot of work with nissan in the past, i had a special observation role on your dyno day, all the peak reading are absolutly 100s, for the auto's torque figures are only valid at 5000 rpm and above, exelent turnout , exelent figures even for those who think they did'nt think they done so well, all 210+ BHP GOOD. If you don't believe retest and post results, auto's were weak.

Got my Z back from having a new radiator, water pump, cam belts, iridium plugs, accessory belts and it overheated again. The radiator bottom connector had cracked off and so the water was gushing out. I assumed this was why it was overheating - the water drained out after 30 mins of driving and began to boil. I drove 2 hours back from Wigan to Leeds with no probs but as I stopped at home the needle went into the red. Hiteq tested the head gasket and compression and said it was OK. They did 50 miles in it with no probs. No water missing this time just hot. Fans are all working correctly. Before the radiator burst the car overheated three times for no apparent reaso…
