Hi, I'm getting a rattling/grinding from under the car when in any gear & revs between 1100 & 1500. I think it's the gearbox!!! Has anyone come across this before?? If so, is it serious. I got the gearbox from a1 Jap spares & has taken me over a month to fit & now I think it's knackered!!! Also, the thrust bearing is knackered! I'm getting p****d off with the whole thing!! Due to a general lack of response I'll ask again ;-) ... Dilema - Have new bumber with stylish racing mesh fitted *but* it clashes with the intercoller 'ducts'... So, do I keep the ducts or the mesh - REALISTICALLY HOW MUCH DIFFERENCE DO THE INTERCOOLER DUCTS MAKE? Considered opinions... Thanks Guys (& Gals) /\/\ark

We should compile a list of Toys containing Zeds, or model 300ZX cars for all the 'children' of Z owners . I saw a 'Tomy' railway set recently, that contains a matchbox size model of a 300ZX to use on the level crossing! Do Scalextric make a 300ZX car for their sets? This is all in the interests of science of course...as I'm sure my daughter doesn't want a model Z for Xmas! JEZ

Hi guyZ, most of you have probably heard on the news this morning about a new virus doing the rounds. It will have a subject of HI and will have an attachment of Gone.SCR. IF YOU RECEIVE THIS EMAIL DELETE IT IMMEDIATELY as it has the possibility of deleting system files on your hard drive. We have already been hit 5 times this morning at work so it is pretty lively!!!! CheerZ, Andy

Hi everyone, I've got a nasty problem with my Z (90 NA SWB). I stopped in the road earlier today and the engine suddenly cut out! I tried starting it again and it wasn't having it. I went to find some help (I was outside a TVR garage!) and when I got back it started straight away. 10 minuets later I was driving around a supermarket car park and it happened again! Couldn't start it for another 15 mins. Pushed it on my own to a parking space and called the AA. 10 mins later it started again but then cut out after I'd left it running for a while. The bloke from the AA said that the plugs were stopping sparking after it was warmed up. It's now at the Niss…

ok, i need some expert help here guys.. please..... cylinder no.3 [back left as you look at engine] is dead. ive tried a new coil/changin coils around , ive also tried a new spark plug and tried changin them around. so it appears to not be one of these faults. the car has no other problems except this no.3 cylider is dead - and also it cuts out some times and stalls ? someone has suggested that it may be the PTU that is not operating properly - does anyone think this may be the case? does anyone have one that I could borrow/buy to test if it is the PTU? or does anyone have any other ideas what may be the problem? im goin to get my garage to do a compres…

Hi everyone, I'm a newboy here but I've decided to take the brave step and join your ranks as a proud (and often skint) Z owner, but I have a couple of questions to ask ya before I take the plunge. 1) Do you folks know of any trusted garages/mechanics in the West Midlands area? I'm kinda between Brum and Cov - so I have to hold my breath a lot 2) Where do you get your spares from? Specialist scrappy, Nissan, imported or are the dealers in the links from this site the best bet? If your interested (or know of any really good 'uns for sale ) I reckon I'm gonna go for a UK model, manual and in black. I've got about 6 or 7k to spend. See ya, -Stu

Evening all, Are there any fitting diagrams or instructions with the kit or are we just suppose to know where it goes! Because i've been told the connections & bits must be 100% sealed. As i & there must be a few others that arn't that knowledgeable on pipes & stuff. As most of us saw warrens at the rolling road day, the new mods that have been carried out since a mistake in manufacure on the pipwork as i've read in the updates!!! Are we to take anything else into consideration? Positioning etc. And any chance of chrome plastic, instead of red & black plastic valves? Warren have you sorted yours, (cleaned um) & how are they now? And any c…

got the starter motor off today and it turns out that one side of the mounting has just cracked off and the other side, the bolt had loosened it self, so the starter motor was just hanging off. I phoned a few breakers yards and no one has the starter motor, so I have tried to glue it together with some metal compound - fingers crossed and my Z will be back on the round. Thanks again for everyones advice on my previous post. Vijay
