Get my car pics in the rides section????? I really want to know and its bugging me!!!!!

Hi ,i having a slight problem with my zx,when i accelerate from standing,there is a banging noise coming from the under the car near the centre under the seat.Once the car has accelerated just past standing the car no longer makes any noises ,it only seems to occur when the car starts from a standstill.I have talked to two mechanic friends of mine and they both seem to think that the rubber has split to the cushion drive,which i think is a part of the central bearing?Although it might have a seperate rubber doughnut instead?So when the car comes to a standstill the two propellor shafts droop and then when power is applied the shafts flap up and down due to the split in th…

OK, I wouldn't ask this question for any other car - after all my Ren 5 sat on jack stands for months at a time, but.. I'm about 25% through the 60k maint procedure (after a day of cursing and swearing at bolts/oil encrusted accessories), and currently the car is in the garage (yes, in the garage at last! complete with new window) with the front end supported on jack stands, using the points on the frame specified in the manual (the reinforced part of the longditudinal framework)... Now, I'm off work till Thursday, so is it gonna be OK leaving it up on the jack stands until Weds night? Just to put my mind at ease Ta! Az

Help.... I've recently (1 week) purchased a uk supplied 300ZX with a Nissan CUR 20-GB alarm/immobiliser fitted. I've had a look around to find some more info about this system but no luck, does anyone know if it's Thatcham approved etc or any other info.

Hi All, just taken the battery out to change the nearside oxygen sensor and it won't budge. Nissan say you need a special tool anybody got any ideas??? Regards Mark

afternoon all. my pipes have turned up this morning and was wandering if someone could explain to me what happens with the sensors that are currently down there on the exhaust system. i believe there are two fifferent types, something like the air/fuel mixture and something else but i could really be talking out of my arse all info will be greatly received many thanks Martin

Hi guys the recent interest in the braided hose upgrades for the brake lines had me thinking and as one of my customers actually manufactures these thing for industry,it would not be too dificult for them to produce these for us,however I need some technical info like pipe diameter and length and types and sizes of end fittings. Alternatively if any one can lend me a single pipe for them to copy (I know its a lot to ask)that would be even better.Indications are a group buy would attract a very good discount Cheers lads Jeff TT

Yes I know its coming to everyone sooner or later but I just could not find my fuel smell source(s) until this AM minus 4 deg. Looked underneath and saw drips to a nice little puddle of fuel under the car just between the bell housing and engine. Looked up top again and nothing - then I sees its just moist under the fuel pressure regulator RHS - black plastic thingy between 2 rearmost intake tubes rhs. Cant see it coming from the rubber tube conns - IS it the regulator that leaks???? and enough to make a puddle underneath? Maybe thats why I'm down to 16mpg! This is defo not a car for smokers! Not that I'm one anyway.

My Drivers Side 'Main Driving Light Bulb' has gone (Ran off with Jack Frost!!) As I havea UK car do I just go to Harry's and get a new one? Is it easy to fit a new bulb? Does anyone know of any cheap websites where you can buy electrical goods like VCR's, DVD players etc. I've tried a few but they are all virtually the same price as the high streets.... Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Chris

last night saw this class looking Z on the Rettendon Turnpike roundabout on the A130 heading towards South Woodham Ferrers in Essex. It was a deep metallic purple with a complete Veilside kit. (Similar to Sennas without the big spoiler. I pulled up behind it and the exhausts were vibrating my car like anything!! This motor looked proper flash. If its anyones on here, gets some snaps of it now!!!! Chris

I talked to a jeweler about custom jewelry to create a all metal silver key to look exactly like the titanium key, he's creating the mold now and it's going to cost me $45 for the mold and first key, if it turns out good he said he can make more key blanks (cause he'd have the mold from mine) that he can create replicas for $20 each I'll post pics later of how it turns out, if it turns out good anyone else intrested?

ok, theres been loads of posts on the new springs and shocks group buys lately but no-one at all seems to have mentioned anything about any of the bushings or camber adjustment. There are people on the forum who know far more about this than me but surely if I get someone to put on my nice new springs and shocks they're going to completely upset the relationship of my tyres with the road. Are the stock upper links on the front suspension adjustable so we can set up the camber correctly ? Don't fancy wearing out a set of tyres in an afternoon.... well I do, but not like that. Also at the back know even less about this, surely a camber adjustment is needed here too if…
