Anyone ever used them ? Know where I can get some ? Or maybe you can warn me not to take an auto Z to a ski restort because chances of survival are minimal - answers on a ski pass please ? By the way, am actually serious as a drive across France seems too good an opportunity to miss

Quotes like the one below, make me shudder. It's a Z for christ sake not a MkIII Escort 'The Nissan 300ZX is a criminally underrated car with more style than Ali G and more grunt than a pig farm. The only reason we can think of that we don’t see more Max’d ZXs is that there isn’t a great deal of stuff for them in the styling department.' can you guess the source?

Alex Ferguson is queuing in his local building society, when a gunman bursts in through the door demanding money. Ferguson attempts to tackle the raider, but is knocked over. On his way to the floor he knocks his head on the counter and slumps out cold onto the floor. The robber runs off. One of the cashiers goes over to Alex and tries to revive him by fanning him with some leaflets - he comes round and looks bewildered. His first words are "Oh God, where am I ?" The cashier replies, "don't worry, its ok - you're in the Nationwide." Ferguson replies, "Fuck me, is it May already ?!! " JOHN

Just a quick work of warning to all u zed drivers out there. Carefull how many ! marks u use on the forum. Ajay warned me earlier about the exclamation police but i just laughed it off. Much to my dissaproval and sheer disbelief after a morning of vigouous usuage of the ! mark i was busted!!!!!! I just popped out in the zed and was happily driving down the road waiting for my oil pressure gauge to drop and mt temp to rise when to my horror a mauve robin reliant with a dotted orange line came fliying up behind me!!!!!! Before i knew what was going on it had shot right past me and was infront of me with a pink light on the roof and a !police! sign on the back flashing! …

ok, check out the pic below!!!!!!1 its the view down from the back of the car. just above the back box of the exhaust, well, above the cats actually i think, you can see the centre bearing of the prop shaft. and clearly i think the rubber seal is broke [although i cant see a physical crack] and as u can see the prop shaft sits about 15mm lower than it should. and can push the whole prop shaf up a good 20mm or so, and it gives a big thud! obviously i need to buy a new centre bearing!!! does anyone have any idea if im gonna do much damage driving it around for a couple of days if i go 'easy'. ben.

Does anyone know how to function the jap import heaters properly. I can only set them to two positions. One on the windcreen by pressing the demist windowscreen button and two, on the windscreen and footwell area by pressing the auto button. I think the later model car actually states digitally where u can send the heat unlike the earlier types. I cant get it to blow out the front vents (towards my face). Anyone here have any ideas?.

Has anyone out there ever changed the main bearings on a manual box? I think mine are shagged because there's a grinding noise at low revs in every gear whilst powering up. I'm just wondering if it's something I could do & if so, how expensive are they? Also I need a thrust bearing too!

Here's the deal I wanted to get indiglo gauges for my Z, however, as you probably know, there ARE differences between the JPN / US (NA and TT) / and Euro set of gauges... Besides the US Spec NA & TT, nothing is comercially available. So I stated to look around... I would find a way to PRINT faces on transparent film (so basically I can create whatever layout I want, including Custom Jobs) i.e. Speedo up to 300 km/h .. [place permitting] Speedo up 200 mph [place permitting] Speedo in MPH only Speedo in Km/h Only Speedo in MPH (main scale) Km/h (secondary scale) And that would work for TT (160 mph in the US)and NA faces (140 mph) …

Christ, scrapped all the ice of the windows this morning, pulled off when down the road, and there was an almighty crack/bang**..//!! It came from the roof/T-bar. Stopped the car to expect a brick has landed on top and cracked my t-top to kingdom kum, but nothing can only assume it's the ice that welds the seals together, anyone else had this problem, I think I'll coat the seals in grease to prevent them from doing this over the winter period!!!!!!! Jonny.....
