Apparently, the unofficial statistic is one death a week.. The official one is a lot less, because they only count as deaths if the person dies *on* the track..

well to be honest its only as dangerous as you make it, everyone pissed themselves laughing at me when i got back last year. I wont mention names (craig,hairsy,bob) but you just have to go at your own pace. the ring is all about knowledge of the circuit, they recon at least 55-60 laps before you start going very quick. But it has been the best car experience i have yet encountered.

The things oyu see are awsome.

there was one pretty bad accident while we were there. But just broken leg or shoulder i think.

 

alot of the deaths thing is folklaw. I have heard the same storys that guys told me happende the day before i got there form people that have been 6 monts earlier lol

so far tttim and i are organzing something for April, i will give dates in the new year when i know them

 

the distance from Sutton surry where i live is 364 miles stop to stop

so its roughly

1 and a bit tank to get there.

1 tank on the circuit (depending on how many laps you do i would guess youll do about 6-10)

1 and a bit tanks home.

we can iether camp or stay in hotels (about £20 per night.

so far i have about 10 guys going

 

3 scooby wrx

1 hot cosworth

1 evo 1 trackday car

1 mx5 (with all the goodies)

2 skyline gts

1 supra

1 lexus fully kitted with poopra motor in it.

 

this is going to be an awseome trackday, the best youll ever do

 

leave friday night arrive saturday 8 am

spend two blisfull days on the best racing circuit in the world and come home sunday evening.

Listen mate, I was going to do Monza next year with a Rally Driving friend but I'd much rather go for a blatt around the Nurburgring.

its an event just watching them pass you at speeds you cant believe.

Mounting my camera was a funny story.

 

i got a clamp and put it on just behind the rear seats on the little black thingy that covers the boot ????. culman make a car tripod ill be using one of those this time around.

Is this the one where you get overtaken by 3 woman in a Citroen Dolly hahahahaha....

you stop at your own perril on that circuit.

There are basic rule to follow and you must only stop if you are the 1st or 2nd person on the scene.

 

as you can see on that clip on one lap i go past two accidents.

I'd love to go.. was thinking of investing in a 4 or 6 point harness for that kind of thing anyway, think i'd want to wear a tin top too! just in case i stuff it big style..
