Books on the ZX

I've got a new addition to my bookshelf, thought it might be interesting to find out what books other people have and whether they're any good.

I've only just started to 'dip into' this one and it seems to be very good, covers the history of the ZX from the 280ZX through to the last 300ZX of '99. There are even a few pics of the concept, 350ZX.

Cheers for the tip Tim,

I'm actually quite into Z books. I was considering this one in fact too.

Here are a few good Car related book shops on the net:

http://www.motorbooks.co.uk/

http://www.booksinternational.co.uk

I've ordered from both of them.

Laterz.

I've only got the 300ZX enthusiast's companion most of the others are Datsun 240Z, 260 and 280 books .

Happy reading wink.gif

I've got a copy of A to Zx, or rather Tim has at the moment and given that he's been using it for bedtime reading I expect the pages are stuck together now ! biggrin.gif

I don't think it's much cop, but he can provide a second opinion. OTOH when I bought it I knew virtually nothing about Zeds, so maybe it has some useful background info even if it's completely US biased.

I also have a real paper copy of the workshop manual (the last one of Paul Baileys' bulk buy for £30) and the Series II Supplement (from The Z Centre at about £20)

No pages stuck together mate, no bloody pictures to gawp at!!! biggrin.gif

You were right though, it's not as good as the Z Owners Companion. That was well worth getting wink.gif

MJP are doing that workshop manwell Andreas for about 90 squid I think..."howwwwwwww much???"

Just had a ferret around the A to ZX site and it seems that although it's sold out you can now download a PDF version for $8.50. Seems reasonable to me. Have a shufti :-
