In running like a bag of shite part one, a faulty injector and corroded connectors were the culprit and sorted... Well if having issues with the electrics isnt bad enough with this weather, with the headlight issue still not resolved, when driving today all was fine until after a filling up at Tesco my car started running rough and lots of smoke out the left bank exhaust, i have a straight through mongoose system so is it still likely the left bank of the engine? I know the intake works opposite sides. Checked all the connectors, gave them a wiggle, but nothing changed, im hoping i havent got another injector gone bad. Bad smell of fuel, which makes me think inj…

Hi guys!! long story short, my car broke down in london on sunday morning (bear in mind I am from birmingham) and a very very helpful chap driving a black 300zx. registration plate A16 RBO pulled over and gave up a good hour or so of his morning just to help me out. even went and fetched some parts he thought may help me on my way. basically I forgot to take his name, but wanted to track him down just to simply say thanks again for all his help. its rare you come across people like this nowadays. I decided that a forum like this would be my best bet!! If anyone knows this guy could you please please get him to contact me. thanks in advance!!

Well I've been zed less for not very long at all. I don't want to spend 3 or 4 grand on a running car because i enjoy my testicles where they are. Not hived where the sun doesn't shine by the Mrs if i were to spend that amount  so I'm toying with the idea of buying one that needs some loving. Would need to be a TT and definitely a manual. needs to be sound body wise mechanically not too bothered how it is to be honest. I'll be keeping an eye out over the next few weeks/months so if you hear of anything then let me know :) it may be the right one for me

My turn to thank somebody again. A big thanks to Joely P, Joel saw that I was enquiring about a 3rd brake light which is for Jr's shorty. Joel contacted me and said he had one knocking around, and when I asked how much he wanted for it his reply was a big nothing. I received the brake light today, and it is like new. Thanks Joel, another member that is a credit to this forum, and shows great club spirit. Cheers buddy, and I hope I can some day return the kindness to you. Ian

before i replaced the rear lights, the right indicator would blink rapidly as if a bulb was burnt, upon inspection the right rear bumper side light was off. left side ok. so on the weekend i replaced just the brake lights and installed the third brake light and its now rapidly blinking for left and right, ive checked all the lights and they light up. low beam, high beam, fogs, rear brake lights and all four indicators including the rear side bumper lights. cant figure out why its still blinking fast. any ideas?

as per title ive fitted the third brake light finally. and i was wondering is there a fitting difference, i know that the third brake light will fit all variations of the z32 but when was fitting it it only had one hole for the plastic clip!? which left me thinking wtf!! the strip has four clips and 4 screws to bolt down. i started thinking about drilling holes etc but ecventually after almost loosing hope and not fitting it i removed all 4 clips and bolted it place its in place and looks miles better but its not as sturdy bewteen the the end screw and middle screw where the brake light is. and there is defo a gap between the boot lid and the perspex stri…

Hello all! So over the winter I have noticed a slight crunch or notchyness (it is a word) going to 1st to second regardless of the rpm. It goes away a bit after an hour of driving once the old is warm presumably. Question is what could it be? - It is rare for the 2nd gear synchro to go. If I change down from 3rd to nd it is smooth. So if all in one movement I go from 1st, move into 3rd with clutch depressed, then put it into 2nd it is smooth as silk. I will put some MT90 in and see if that helps. Some guy on zcar mentioned that it could be clutch boost? does this mean anything to anyone? http://www.zcar.com/forum/12-90-96-tech-discussion-forum/16152…

figured id start a new thread, as ive mentioned about my surprise find a fews days ago ive taken out the centre rear light panel and took apart one section to show what it was, i thought it would've been a simple led insert but it wasnt. from the pictures you'll be able to tell what was done and where, not much to it but the top lense had to be pushed in and glued in place and the edge has been cut away for the led board to fit. the backing cover also had been cut to allow room for the wires

How good are zeds honestly? I am fairly comitted to my zed, I plan to keep it as the high performance car I need. But, I do get wandering eyes, find myself looking at supras on PistonHeads, or bonkers miester gtrs. Capris... elises... So, for those with better car histories than myself, how good are they? Ive heard supras are a bit pants, I do love my zed it feels really good to me but how do they honestly stack up? Would a tvr be better? More rewarding, more capable? I thought this would bring up an interesting discussion.

I was amazed lol had it for so long and never knew it!!!!
