Hi everyone, I have just bought my first 1992 Nissan 300zx tt UK model in manual and would like to spend some money doing her up, the rear tailgate has no spoiler as it's been flushed does any one know where I could buy a rear spoiler like a remake / copy of the original one or even better one with no center light and I need a decent pair of side skirts please help as I'm fairly new to the scene. One other question the rear plastic perspex stripe that sits in between the rear lights and spoiler the lettering Nissan and twin turbo is missing how do I replace that?

This car came up for sale on here a few years ago. Just wondering what became of it? Strangely, I like it and always have....I am not adverse to bodykits and never have been, just the commonly accessible horrors that appear all the time....are just that....all that there ever seem to be! Anyway, having a conversation with someone on facebook about it and wondered what became of it? I have a feeling it might have been exported back to Japan, but I'm not too sure. It's quite a special car and was Explosion's own Demo car. I guess Jeff might now?

Don't ask me why but when I got home from work this evening I had a look to see what exhaust I actually have on my zed. It is a single exit jasma with the code/numbers 051 622. I did a little search on Google and apparently 051 is the number for hks, but what is the other code/number?

Having never owned a car previous to the Z with anything coming close to a convertible or even a sunroof, I'd been itching to go a drive with the targas off since buying it four months ago. With the BBC predicting a decent bit of sunshine today I chanced it on my journey home and all I'm thinking now is how much I love my car. Never thought taking the targas off would make a normally mundane 12 mile commute that fun, even in traffic! Got a few comments when I was reassembling the roof from passers-by about how nice it looks (as well as the usual mpg questions obviously). No real purpose to this post other than to rant about my love for the Z! (and I apologise fo…

Hi everyone, I got the green light from Groover to start this thread. Ive been doing some research and found that buying certain items from the states works out cheaper for myself. The added benefit to that is I can get up to 20% discount on almost everything relating to cars. Since most parts and companies are based in California and my brother in law lives there now so he is my eyes and ears there who is also the reason why I get the discount. Its something that Id like to offer anyone who is interested. As most of you aware I will be moving abroad but I will still be on the forum and I can give my contact details. For now I will ask for 5 members to put the…

Hi guys got a problem with my front seat used to work but suddenly stopped. Took seat out and checked wiring seems ok and there's voltage to the main wire and switches when plugged in. Motors you think? Or is there a fuse somewhere? Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

Got an issue with my Z already lol, I don't think it's much and there must be a theory behind it so would be greatful if you could throw some ideas up :) It's refusing to start. The first turn of the key and it starts but cuts out after a second. It then doesn't fire at all but I can smell fuel after a little cranking. I figured out today that if you start it with the throttle open it starts and runs with no problem, but as soon as the revs die down it cuts out and resorts to not firing again. As its a late model there's no ecu diagnostic light and I've not got hold of an OBD2 reader yet so can't check for codes. But there must be a reason why it runs with …

Hi peeps. Having massive trouble fitting this auto window closer. Wiring diagram is so vague on Nissan's side and on alarms side. Been here hours now with multimeter and still cannot find the window switch for either side. Can somebody help please. All I can see is the motor wires are blue and green. I don't need to go into the door to wire this on the passenger side. I have the driver's door card off only. It's a Hawk HA-64U window closer unit. Thanks.

Hey guys, Thought I would post this 300zx - Wondering if these are simple fixes in the terms of a ZX? Found the add on Pistonheads http://www.pistonheads.com/classifieds/used-cars/nissan/300zx/nissan-300zx-twin-turbo/2059700?isexperiment=true - Think its rather cheap but what do you guys think? Will it need much money spent on it to get it straight? Was thinking I could get some black leather seats or bucket seats... to deal with that issue but dont know what fits atm. In general please offer your advice...

As some of you would have seen on another thread I treated myself to a new 300zx this weekend. It's a very late model, series 6 1999 model in midnight purple  I took a huge gamble with the car buying it blind off eBay with a description identical to one a few years back and terrible photos. It was previously in the club and owned by forum member Craig David (Tim) who was the first UK owner. He took great care of the car but unfortunately it was passed around an Albanian family after that and with numerous trips to Albania and back and seemingly never been cleaned it had been neglected and was grimey and slimey and generally un-cared for. I manag…

Long shot... I'm going to be ordering some new mats soon. The ones I want can only be bought in a full set of LWB ones. But obviously having a Slicky I don't require the rear mats. Total cost inc posting for the set is just shy of £60. I would offset some of the cost by selling someone here the rears for £20 inc postage.

Just got a new expansion tank for my 300 and it's quite dirty as you can see from the picture. I have tried cleaning it with washing up liquid and warm water and soaking it but didn't really work then tried washing powder and warm water and letting it soak overnight lifted some of the dirt and grime but still could be better so I’m asking if any of you know any little tips or trick's to get it looking like new?
