We had our first mini mini mini meet of the year , i meet up with Steve61 from Rehpham/ norfolk, we met in the Mc Ds and had some youngsters came over asking what the cars were and could they take some pics, Its nice to get some positive feedback from the young youth of today. steves got a very nice 96 man tt shortie. and mine 90 man tt uk. Nice to meet you Steve. hope our meets grow in size , but hey, we got to start from somewhere.

hello, got a bit of a odd noise When the car is running I get a chattering/ticking noise, linked with the engine revs. I can`t hear the sound when i`m looking over the engine or from the rear of the car. It seems loudest on the driver side. Hi folks, I spotted a small blot of oil under the very front of the car this morning - it had run forwards along the under tray before dripping onto the garage floor. It appears to be from the little two-core oil cooler in front of all the other radiators; some of the cooling fins have clearly rusted away and, I suspect, a small hole has formed in one of the cores. The oil is clean, red/pink in colour - so would the 'cooler be for the auto transmission or for the power steering fluid? Also, does anybody have a good 'cooler for sale please:wink: Richard:cool:

Anyone know where I can get 2 replacement bonnet rubber bump stops - the little rubber bungs that "screw" into the front vaalance just behind the head lights? Also, 02 sensors - what's the best place to get a pair? Cheers!

Hi I have a NA and and have it for the past 6 years, this morning I started it and it fired first time as usual but cut out after 5 seconds. When I tried to restart, nothing, except for the engine turning over really quickly. I haven't had a chance to look at it but having similar problems with other cars I'm thinking cam belt issues. The cam belt was replaced, with tensioners and water pump 4 years ago and the car has only done 10000 miles since then. It was only replaced due to a bolt working loose from a pulley so decided to have the lot replaced. the mechanic said I was lucky as the bottom crankshaft pulley was missing it's woodruff key at the time of the w…

Hey, So noticed the powersteering fluid was low and topped whilst the mrs turned the wheel only to find a nice puddle under the car. Looks like the pipe that runs underneath to the pump, so wondering wheres the best place to get a new one? thanks

Ok my car is going to body shop soon and i have a few options on the look i'm wanting i'm not sticking with the OEM look so here goes I have full Twinz Kit to stick on but all so i have a 95 style spoiler/tailgate so thought Q's is do you guys think it will look right with the upper roof spoiler along with 95 if anyone is good with Photoshop .. can ya do a Mock up with the items fitted to Red car please :) All so i'm putting one some extended archs about 2>3" on rear and 1>2" on front not quit as large as these pics .. but more on the lines of the bottom

Anyone ever seen this spoiler on a zed? I quite like it, a bit too pricey though especially with shipping.

right my clutch peddel bitting point is and always has been right on the floor and sometimes i have a right old job of getting it into 1st gear ,it feels like it doesnt want to go and so to make it go in i select 2nd then back to fisrt then it goes in no problem, might not be an accociated problem but it might help. i have a new slave new master and new toped up fluid that dont move. i do have to much play in the peddle and going to see if any ajustment minght help, cant harm, my question is do i wind the bolt in to get a higher bite on the peddle? dont want to go wrong way and pop anything out. looked at guides dont really help awnsering that question. cheers

Hi!!! I am rebuilding a Zed with Wiseco, Eagle, new cranck, ATI pulley, Z1 clutch and flywheel etc.... In Spain, there aren´t company that make me a balancing crank with counter weights and Knife Edge...for example. Eagle Rod with Wiseco piston weights 1000gr aprox, and OEM pair weights 1300...I think is neccesary. Where can I send my crank, pulley, flywheel...etc?, Thanks!!

Hi Guys, Need some help. Whilst checking out the boot, I've noticed that after pulling the release lever, and going around the back, the boot wont open, I have to go back and wedge open the lever, go back, and then the boot lifts. If I use the key and lift whilst it is turned, the boot will lift. One thing that bugs me is that when using the lever or the key, there is no "click", which I would think is the lock releasing. So, is there something wrong with the mechanism,? I've taken off the lock and looked at it and it seems to operate ok. it even clicks. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Rich

Today the car was stripped of the last parts to be removed and is now looking very sad to how it was from the last 8 years of total pleasure owning it. Unfortunately I won't be looking for another zx for the time being as all the remaining finds from her will be going towards a deposit for a new house. But I will always remember it for how it looked just before the end. Hopefully one day I will get another one, but one thing is for sure I will be staying on the forum as I have met some fantastic people over the years on here and have had a huge amount of help from all the Kind members who have given up there time to help both on here and in perso…

Hi Guys, looked for threads regarding side lights cant find anything yet.. my problem i have, turn the lights on to sidelights nothing. turn main beam nowt main works,but as soon as you turn indicator on for either side then the side light comes on. The car is 1993 jdm TT my White 1. indicators side light and the socket are the 3 pin type. on the N/S there is an extra socket just dangling which i think must have been for the fog lights plug that in and the indicator and sidelight remain on at the N/S. there is no plug on the O/S but there is 2 wires that are bare, the wiring and is all to put butchered the car doesn't even have a horn. any help or advice guys …

It's the rears I'm trying to figure out. Someone reckoned they were the night garage ones but the shape does not seem right. Cheers guys

as you can see by the picture i have being a right plank and span the swb tt and hit the kerb. the back rear is buckled and will need parts replacing. i have most of the parts from a lwb tt breaker. is there any differences between the two models i will need to know about when switching the parts over

Hey, wondering if anyone knows about the ignition locks.. I've got one with the titanium key that i want to replace mine with... however it is different. mine is like in the diagram with a set of wires coming from near the front of the barrel.. the one i have to replace it with doesn't have these wires it just has a blanking plug there. can I just change the barrels over.. and if so how? cheers.

I have used tiger seal in the past but what I'm after is an adhesive that is red so it will match the car? Anybody know of any suitable?
