Hi guys, having just returned from a much needed holiday, i got to my car after being stood at Gatwick long stay for a week and battery was dead :whistling: i couldnt believe it, i have an uprated amp battery and never lets me down, luckily one of the car park bods was cruising around in his little van and he had a starter pack to help me out, started first time and started my journey home. Didnt think too much more about what the cause might be, obviously something caused the drain, but at 2am not in the mood to think too much  Got to the ferry turned everything off and then noticed after a few minutes the drivers main beam come on by itself, followed by …

Seen a zed I like but its a long way to go to see it. Anyone close that can go view it on my behalf. Car is being sold by Mario Motors which describe themselves as a garage but its likely just a one man band as such. http://www.mariomotors.co.uk/used-cars/nissan-300-zx-ilford-201312140532584 Cheers

Right as some of you know i am planning to have a go at a rear light conversion of my own. this is why all the recent questions. i think ill be using the new lights as they dont have a reflector to get in the way. im going to have this guy ive talked to to build me a set of led boards who lives in the states. the indicators will be chassing and in two bits , one chassing realy quick and when this comes to fill up that area the second smaller bit will come on as a solid blink. that way im legal . the brake light will be big and solid and the side light that stays on all the time will be the main pattern. if you get my idea then please fill free to comment. you will not be …

Hey guys, I'm looking into upgrading my Z drive pulleys. Just need pointers on which ones to be considering. Mine are standards off course. I've read good things about the AMS and Unorthodox ones. Seems like they can only be got from the US?? Seen some pulley kits on ebay but no reviews on them on here to consider them. And I'd rather spend me money on ones with a good reputation. Any info much appreciated guys :thumbup: Kind regards, Zee.

Every since I've owned my Zed, I have a small cold start issue. Turn the key and engine instantly fires up, rpm climbs, but then drops away to stall point. Sometimes stalls sometimes doesn't. The revs then "bounce" their way up to about 1100 fast idle. After a few mins running all is well, and the idle drops to around 850. Anyone any ideas? Car is a 95, series 4 NA, only engine mod is a Blitz cone filter and hard pipes.

Just this weekend i meet Simon GT from cheshire, nice to meet you chap, He was down Norwich doing stuff. i bought a electric fan of him, cheers bud, the fan i bought was the electric fan that sits there infront of the aircon rad, so assuming it blows air and not pulls air was thinking of wiring this up to a switch on its own and also straping it to the cars rad. one to save me buying a maga expensive electric fan that dosnt do the job. dont want to get rid of the fiscous fan, just nice to have the option should i need it if bombing around in our summer months/ sorry days. question one if im extreamly careful i should be able to mount this onto the cars rad with some rub…

has anyone on here had a set of these lights or has anyone on here had a set apart. it looks like to me that they dont have a rear reflector stuck on the back, and it just looks like a flat lens . where our old ones have that reflector sitting there glude in the middle and the lens has a slightly raised moulded lip in it? cheers

Johnyboy is deserving of a large round of applause (and drinks!) as he's been backwards and forwards to mine a number of times while I've been finishing off his interior for him... he's never ever late (lol) and he's always smiley and jovial. :) Even though the issues were out of either his or my control, he's never grumbled about the travelling at all. And he also took my balance bar away and returned all chromed and shiny! So "thank you, mate" - you're a true credit to both this club and humanity in general!

Hi all - hopefully a simple question! I am aware that the Fuel ECU in an NA and TT is different (2 stages of pump activity vs 3, more fuel etc). So, my question is this - if I install an NA ECU that has been fitted with a TT chip (from z1) to my TT, will the Fuel ECU and ECU play nicely and the pump run correctly? I think the answer should be yes - but my engine is not revving properly and sound like its being fuel starved. Im trying to rule out the obvious stuff (like fitting a different ECU!) as I investigate further... Cheers! M

Yet again I am being plagued by a dodgy viscous fan that squeaks and groans whenever I start the car before I eventually get the whoosh as it starts too spin. I've put a new correct sized jap import drive belt from MJP and have had it checked and adjusted twice but it still does it so it's not the belt. Can I just take the fkn thing off and chuck it in the bin (after giving it the good news with a lump hammer) and replace it with an electric one?

Well the rain finally stopped enough on Friday for me to take the zed to work but still have not opened the taps up full yet as the roads are still very greasy but ive given it enough to know that the work Lee Dent has done on my engine and other upgrades have transformed the car and you guys were right a 300zx with fully operational turbos and no boost leaks is a very scary beast indeed. The Blitz EBC that lee installed is working great and I have 3 settings to suit various boost scenarios but for now im running the 14.3 psi one which is lively to say the least. Well I thought I would post a few pics so here she is in the sun at work I thought I would post a fe…
