ok have just taken the pump out but the pipe work isn't the same as the pic I had of it the first pic is the one I found on line black car the 3 other pics red car is mine can some one tell me what going on here ?

Well after a good few months of work and trying a few things out (Like a wings west front end) we decided that nissan made these cars look too good in the first place (not the best advert for selling the mad front nosecone lol). So L 300TT came back from the paint shop again today and has the standard front back on and is looking oh so shiney and brand new... the only mods now are the HID headlamps and angel eyes and the super cool BSCC black wolfrace wheels.... pics to follow as soon as I get the forum working properly.

Hi guys, I have a problem and don't know what to do next! I have been tinkering in my workshop for ages, slowly rebuilding my swb TT manual conversion. Today I hit the starter for the first time in, well several years, and unsurprising it didn't start. ? I have fuel pressure at the rail, but it doesn't catch or fire at all. My suspicion is no ignition, but honestly it could be anything.. curious to know if the perspex strip with the third light is meant for non turbo version cars because of not having a spoiler? asking because ill be getting a new spoiler which doesn't have a third light or space for it and not sure if its a legal requirement in the uk to have a third light.

After having a faulty fuel filler pipe on my red zed I was in urgent need of a replacement. Not being able to find a suitable courier to ship on Friday for a Saturday delivery Ian took it apon himself to hand deliver the part all the way from his place to where I stay in Troon. Now that's what you call club spirit ! the zed is now booked into a garage for tomorrow to get it fitted. I'd just like to give my absolute gratitude to Ian on going out of his way to do this for me. Hi all, need some help please guys. I've had my z for about a week now and just got it back from the garage to fix a heater issue, and got a nice healthy service done too. Before I gave it in I noticed the a rather loud tappety noise coming from the engine, it sounds like something spinning and hitting the silver metal cover on the engine, as I rev it higher the sound gets louder. And I can feel it too if I put my hand on the cover, like a grinding tappy sound It seems to die down when the air con is on... I thought it was due to the car being sat for 4 months and just needed a good service (silly me) But the noise persists, I thought it may be the timing belt…

Hi, Just trying to get insurance sorted and have been turned down by footman James as car not garaged..... Lancaster same thing.... Lynbrooke have come up with classic policy, kept on driveway, fully comp, 5000 miles, bodykit and wheels declared..... Got quote through and they didn't put agreed value on the policy even though I asked for it..... Spoke to them today and they said I need to get a valuation from owners club...... Is there anyone on here that can do valuations? Or can anyone point me in direction of someone please....... Thanks......

Hi guys, think Ive just bought a lemon. Had a mechanic friend lok over it and he says the head gaskets are gone. Its done 110k kms but the back pressure from driving the car just over a mile she nearly empties the rad once the caps removed. He says she should be just rippling the water and no more. Oil pressure at idle 2.5 bars rising to 3.5 to 4 driving.. is she knackered??

Well aside from some water getting in to the car (no surprise in this weather, just adjusted the windows, hope it helps), the heater matrix needing replacing (Brrrr), an exhaust leak and knocking exhaust (didn't have time to get under and inspect) and the ever increasing amount of rust bubbles popping up everywhere..... It seems the locking system is going to give me right headache. When I unlock the car the passengers door lock keeps locking and unlocking, I can hear a clicking from inside the drivers door. Last night on my way from Cumbria to croydon a wan**r ran into the back of my car flat on at around 10 to 15mph while I was sitting at a red light! I was fkn fuming and was only stopped from killing him by the presence of my 5 yr old daughter. There isn't any noticeable damage but the exhaust tone had definitely changed on the left bank. What other things are likely to have been damaged that I can't see? Also my nice quiet engine is now ticking like mad! Could a rear shunt damage the engine??? i put me foot down being a tit, wheels span then suddenly the steering locked on and the hicas light came on, i remembered something i has seen about turning the ignition on and off to override the problem so i pulled over. on ignition the hicas light has gone off but the hicas the steering is still very tight i'm thinking damage underneath the car but i'm no expert
