Hi all, need a bit of advice on bulb fitment please. My car has the 4 pot Lamborghini rear light conversion so it's a bit more difficult for me to get to the rear bulbs without removing panels. I'm looking to get some nice bright led light bulbs, but not sure if I need one or two sets? Is it just one bulb that lights up brighter when the break is applied or they separate? I know the fitment is size 380 (p21/5w) Anyone help me out this please??? Thanks

Guy's I desperately need to power up some tools and lighting in my garage and can lay my hands on a 3.3kw generator for £50, question is will this be sufficient to also power a small mig welder and a small compressor, obviously not all at the same time? I've looked on the net and some say yes and others no; hopefully someone will know more than me about generator, it's not hard, I know fook all!! Any advice appreciated, especially of those that are using a portable generator. Cheers.

As most of you know, I discovered that the exhaust on my Slicky was scrap and help together with a combination of cardboard and heat tape. This week I was about to bite the bullet and order a Labree system from the US, but a SWB popped up in eBay and I managed to give the breakers a call 5 minutes after their add went live. Andy at "Just Nissan" was a pleasure to deal with and within 2 hours the exhaust was off, parcelled, and on it's way. All for the grand total of £140. Bargain. Not sure when I'll get chance to get it on the car, so no idea what it sounds like yet. But anything is better than what I had. Here's some pics of the mid section, ba…

As my car approaches 70 000 miles (and I've started driving it again in the wheelspinny wet) I think it is time to treat my diff. I have changed the gearbox oil to mt90 and the engine oil is changed all the time. But as far as I know it's 24 year old diff oil. Is it similar to doing the gearbox oil (not too hard) shoud it increase the limited slip effect and is there anything more to it than that? Could someone point me to the good stuff on opie oils? Thanks guys.

ok so part number 26590 30P15 is for the third brake light perspex strip. I want to know if the strip is black or red? I thought it would've been black and asked the dealer but they cant confirm or say and they wont return it. Ive seen some cars with the red version maybe its just in the states but I dont want to have to start tinting/spraying it black. So is it black or is it red? can anyone confirm...? muchas gracias

Hello all. Can someone confirm this for me as I keep reading conflicting opinions on the subject. R32 gtr coilovers are a direct fit front and rear although spring rates are slightly different? R32 gtst coilover do not fit front or rear. Can anyone confirm exactly which adjustable arms of which cars (s bodies, skylines etc) will fit my jap tt. I would like to buy second hand and z32 coilovers don't come up as often. I would also like to delete the hicas but would rather replace the rear end for none turbo parts than fit a hicas delete bar as I would rather simplify things and have less to go wrong and I hear the diff is a better ratio for drifting. Is…

Once the car has been on a drive and is at running temperature if I turn the engine off whilst still warm the viscous fan can still easily be moved/ turned, I've been told this isn't right and it should be stiff to try turn with a warm engine, is this right? if so do I just get a new viscous fan to fix this? I've also been recommended to get an electric fan but I've done some searching and there seams to be mixed opinions about these, I just wondered what you guys would recommend as im new to all this and you all have the knowledge and experience on these machines. Also to be a pain, mine has some idling problems (not hunting) to describe it I would say it idles rig…

Hi, I'm finally getting around to putting the car back on the road after a couple of years off. I think I've sorted the engine water leak problem, sorted brakes and all the other annoying jobs needed for MOT. I was just adjusting the washer jets when I lost all power to the left hand pod! So no wipers, washers or AC controls. Also the clock has gone and the power fold for the door mirrors. I had a quick look at the fuses but couldn't find any problems. Am guessing it may be a relay although I find it hard to believe that one relay can control all that! Any advice appreciated. Not looking hopeful for an MOT this week now. :(

One of my Headlamp bulbs has stopped working and from what i can find out it is a H3C, (not a H3). Now from all my investigations, it looks like these bulbs are mainly used as fog light bulbs. Are these the right bulbs for the dipped beam on the headlamp? I also found this item for £20...any good ... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/200660064544?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649 Regards Rich

Ok nothing to new or radical here but I often see mentioned speedo dry joint issues talked about and thought whilst actually tackling the very same issue I would take a few pics to help anyone else doing the same. Not "a how to" by any means so the picture`s start with the cluster already removed and the speedo head separated and showing the back face of the pcb, as you can see the problem is not obvious to spot due to how small the joints are and pcb layout is. So out come my trusty geek glasses, now don`t laugh these things might look goofy but boy do they come in their own on jobs like this. Bought from ebay for around a fiver they hav…
