Can anyone please advise me why I can't get any hot air from my heater. I've been working through some of the faults on the Z over the last 12 months and I'm left with the heater and the rear de-mister just not working.

Nissan isnt thinking of producing a new z it IS GOING TO BE PRODUCING A NEW ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Next Nissan Z will be smaller, lighter Nissan is reportedly hard at work on its next-generation Z. According to Inside Line, designers are already churning away on a concept version of the 2015 Z that may bow at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. The report notes that Shiro Nakamura, head of design for Nissan, says the new Z will be both smaller and lighter than the current 370Z. The model will also be geared toward a wider audience, and Nissan may be investigating the possibility of ditching the tried-and-true 3.7-liter VQ V6 for a turbochar…

Hi all, I'm in the process of developing my own Brake Master Cylinder Brace because I've noticed a lack of availability of these things in the uk. I've heard great things from those who have fitted one, as it eliminated the flex our cars suffer from when you press the brake pedal. I'm hoping to get something smart made up. I'll keep you updated with my progress, if it works out well I may well get a batch made up if anyone on would be interested. Damn the lack of parts here in the uk!

After having electric issues with my new zed and the alarm going off I decided to strip out the old system. I've owned three Zeds now and I must say on each one the install of the alarms was shocking to say the least. Do alarm installers really don't give a toss or something. The alarm I just removed even had cables running under the carpet that terminated with bare wire connected to absolutely nothing. This alarm was installed over five years ago so maybe over time parts were non functioning and removed. I've still to solder up the old cables in the ignition but as it started raining and I've no garage I had to give up for tonight. Anoth…

So, my handbrake lever looks pretty tired. Its original Jap spec (93) so 20 years old with chips/scratches etc and I would like to cosmetically improve it. Can the actual handbrake lever be removed or do you have to remove the whole handbrake lever assembly? Can you get handbrake lever covers? Any help appreciated. Greg

Thanks - first post of hopefully not too many asking, and hopefully some with advice if I can help I will !! :) I have a problem . . . I have been reading posts all over 300zx.co.uk and I am trying to get the consult freeware version to work, but have problems running on the machine I am using? I am not sure how you guys have the software set up because I am trying to run it on win xp installed on a partition on a machine running 2 installs of win 7 XD lol. I am trying to get the software to work, and as I am guessing looking at the error log it missing the file KERNELBASE.dll which I assume is a windows NT file? As title, anyone done this. I have a stripped down 96 shell which I plan to respray but wanting my project done properly I was planning to take it to a local garage which can do shot blasting. Loads of videos on the net of getting it done but I've also read that it can distort the panels. What's everyone's thoughts?

I had my radio fascia resprayed as it was marked. It also has the buttons for my fog light and front parking sensors next to the clock. These were wired in and we had to cut the wires to remove the panel. I planned to fit removable connectors in case the panel ever had to come off again but have only just got round to it. My fog light and sensors now don't work so I'm assuming the wires touched while the paint shop inadvertently left them bare. I was hoping its just a fuse but as its an aftermarket fitment its awkward. Nothing has blown in the fuse box in the engine bay or the one in the drivers footwell. ( how impossible is that one to get to?!!) any ideas wh…
