General Discussions - 300ZX Related

I guys, I have 2 zeds one is a donor, the one im keeping is an h reg and the one im breaking is an r reg. Can I put the r reg plate on the h reg I've used nearly all the bits from it. Was reading a thread about personal plates and if I had the r reg plate could use a lot newer plates etc. If its possible what would I have to do... Any help appreciated, Thank you.

As title does anyone know if they will fit ,the plugs are the same but the circuit board on the back looks different had a search but nothing conclusive anyone know for deffo ta Jim

here on the bottom sideview of my car just down the bottom of the kit lies a nice long insert shap and am thinking of paintint that bit inthere black in the insert but would like to see if im doing the right thing or not, and i cant use paintshop like funkisi his good, and make me look at my car when he done the bonnet orange for me . if i ask him nicely do you think hell do me the ohnners for me? please Si come on work ur magic. Has any of you out there happen to have a red ZED with a black or carbon wrapped bonnet? My car is not the original red (has been re-sprayed in the past) and I have a bonnet in a different colour, and I have no reference to which red paint was used and have found it impossible to colour match it to the car, arrrrhh!! I have had a mess around with Photoshop, but nothing beats the real thing. I have been thinking about wrapping my SE Nissan bonnet, but I'm not too sure? Any thoughts,help appreciated as always.

Today i went to the nissan dealers today in norwich cas i was looking at some center caps for my wheels then spotted there new 370 nismo car sporting some absolutly lovely new style rays at least thats what the dealer said , me think he was of his head and they must be called somthing else but hey they are nice thou

Hello all, after crashing my red z and the engine going in the one I bought after that I took a well needed break from them! Went to look at 1 today and ended up buying it! It's a 1990 swb tt auto with a genuine 50k mile on it.all original and standard Inc Nissan tape player! Old fella had it last 10 years and hardly ever drove it.. needs a good clean,exhaust back box and a spoiler, not to bad for €750 euro? !

Recent bad weather and storms managed to tear apart the tarpaulin which used to cover my zed with so I went out and bought to new sheets to cover her again. First a polythene waterproof covering followed by another blue thicker hard wearing sheet. Attempted to cover her last night but the wind got the best of us and after a few parachute type moments i just left it. Today with not much wind I started again with good results as follows : With some rope and tape I think it will stay on this time. As I was finishing off the last bit of tape my inner child came out and couldn't help myself. So in respect to bttf I did this :

Although its only been 6weeks since the unfortunate day, its unbelievable how much ya can miss the driving sensation you get from them my garage feels bare and pointless seeing as it was only there for the z so i could have the tinkering days making stuff for it. So now im just hoping the insurance company hurry up so i can get myself another one. for now ive bought myself a 3lt Xtype awd jaguar and although its a great drive the feeling just isnt anywhere near as good as the zx. So what car/cars do you lot miss?

I took my zed for longer drive I hit it couple times after while i noticed problem with evaporation of the windows , like hot air stopped getting into cabin even if i incresed temperature and i noticed little water leak under passanger feets .Any idea what happend ???

whats the best off set for a 10j rear wheel ? and whats the max tyre you can run on a 10j rim and whats the best off set for front for a 18 8.5j

Hi, hope you've all had a great christmas, Ive posted this issue before and i just wanna make sure before i buy from MJP im not buying something i dont atually need. My car leaks from the targas although ive checked drainage and all seems fine its coming in from where the targa roof meets the A pillar and dripping on the bolsters nearest to the doors on both sides. i have replaced the actual roof rubbers which go around the top of the targa and down the door pillar but still doesnt make any difference. I was wondering if the actual targa part has a rubber seal? or is it that i need the actual rubber seal that goes round the top of the door? and down the A pi…
