I am able to make any reverse light panel (RLP) look like a 99 spec one, in fact mine even light up but as ever I have moved on. The red 300ZX looks a strong red in real life, both when switched on and when not, the vid doesn't show it up as well as I would of liked . One in this vid is a fake but one is the genuine article ???? [video=youtube_share;Yw991a-yFF0]

well guys got another problem, when my 300 is idling it's fine but as soon as the throttle is opened about 1mm it runs like a sack of..... every time there is a click from a solenoid buy the master cylinder, i unplugged that solenoid and the problem is now gone I'm assuming its for the aiv or maybe the egr, both of them i plan on removing when i install my new turbos, just want to make sure unplugging the solenoid wont affect anything. thanks in advance guys :D

Well I must be missing a trick here. How the hell are you supposed to remove the passenger headlight without taking the whole car apart?? Driving me mad!! Any suggestions would be appreciated. As it stands at the moment, I can't see anyway around dropping the recirculation valve just to get access to the last bolt. Is there an easier way? Talk about frustrating or what.

Hi all been a while since posting on here. The beast has been off the road for about a year while I saved for a deposit for my house. Anyhoo when all the house stuff was done I got jim to rebuild my engine. I got the car back recently and am very happy with it and just wanted to say a big big thank you to jim for all his hard work. I now understand why he has a reputation for being the main man for engine builds. if anyone is thinking of a build in the future, jim is the man to speak to. Unfortunatley I have no idea how to upload pics from my phone. Maybe jim might be kind enough to put some up for me if he still has them.

Hi All, Just noticed a ticking noise coming from the drivers side front wing area. It's fairly quiet and doesn't start until the engine warms up. It sounds fairly low frequency and a bit "clockwork-like". i'm just thinking of what's changed in that area and all I can think of is that the carbon canister and coolant bottle (although that's the other side) have just been deleted. Any thoughts? Many thanks Nick

I painted my calipers several years back with hammerite and a brush. I want to remove my calipers this weekend and remove all old paint and then re paint them properly. The old paint does chip off with a screwdriver but don't want to subject my calipers to a hammer and screwdriver just to remove paint, is there a better way? Such as using a heat gun? Or having them sandblasted? Don't want to damage the seals in there though... Thanks, Dan

Thought I would run the car up for a little while as it has not been run for a few weeks. After about 20 minutes or so I did the obligatory fluid checks etc' On removal of the oil filler cap I noticed what can only be described as a milky white deposit on the underside of the cap. Is this normal due to the fact that she has been standing?

Hi guys, Picked up some wheels last night from a guy who said they had come off a 300zx. Looked nice and they are smart, but I have run into issues today fitting them... http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/17-Rays-Volk-Racing-Staggered-Wheel-Size-Set-Forged-Jdm-Toyota-Honda-Nissan-/161168207151?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEWAX%3AIT&nma=true&si=ADolq46RrhDq1iv49XKgNhLQc4Q%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc So the center bore is 72mm which is fine, I have spigots for that. it seems that the rears have very shallow bores! So the Zeds rears have a 10mm deep spigot, but these wheels only have around a 5mm deep bore, and part of it is chamfered (see…

I have at last found the right zed! Just bought a 1996 NA auto in red, 33000kms I'm the first uk owner, imported in 2012, totally original with original stereo, targa bags, remote engine start, in absolute immaculate condition! It's not a TT which I really was looking for but I was surprised how the NA still has the ability to get down the road, it was so clean and straight I couldn't not buy it. Smiled all the way home! Or at least to the petrol station.

So, went for a spin yesterday in the Zed and came home as usual. Didn't notice anything until this morning - the power antenna on the car was still fully extended - which was surprising. So, after turning the alarm on/off a few times and starting and driving the car up and down the road this morning, it hasn't moved. It is still up. I have noticed that the illuminated side light on that side (below the antenna) has gone out (the other side is still illuminating) so I am thinking something has fused??? Any thoughts on what is causing the antenna not to go down or why the side light has gone out? I checked the bulb in the side light before anyone asks! (It was fine). …

i can arrange a group buy of some $80 + Shipping now just waiting on a Bulk Price from him Info Taken from Site This is NOT your ordinary car cover. The same car cover is offered by Porsche, Mercedes and many dealer retailers when purchasing one from the dealership. The cover itself is made to cover the entire car, all the way down to the bottom of the tires! The outer material is UV treated, and will protect your investment from the elements like tree sap, animal droppings, water and more. Details on the car cover: - Elastic Hems. - Body strap/clip that will clip the underside - To keep the car cover in high winds. - Double …

Has anyone got opinions on the real driving difference between a TT and a NA can't seem to find a nice TT to buy at the minute, yesterday I drove 240 miles to view an "Immaculate" zed but it was far from that! Should I hold on till spring next year for a TT or is a NA a real option? Thanks

Can someone with a European spec Z32 confirm for me whether the return hose coming off the oil cooler in front of the car has a restrictor? I know for certain JDM and USDM Z32's have a restrictor inside the hose but I wonder whether European Z32's also received it the stock hose even though they came with larger cooler. Because of the larger cooler the hoses are also different in lenght. Thank you.

I have tried the search function but cant find what im looking for. Being completely new to nissan 300zx I have no idea what im doing but I just brought my jap import car and it had a KBTV speedo converter/ delimiter with mph dials everything is working fine bar the speedo, it work's but seams to be just over double what im actually doing the needle hasn't been played with the previous owner just said it has stopped reading mph and has gone back to kph. I've tried to email kbtv for some help but they just said I make no sense and that if it was the converter/ chip then neither the speedo or rev gage would be working. Could anyone help me or point me in the right direction…
