Hi all, with regards to my earlier post about sudden rough running I done a ecu code check to see if there was any faults I noticed the dial on the ecu was pretty much all the way to the right so I corrected that and carried on with the code check it came back 55 all clear, can someone tell me if the check light should be coming on while ignition is on then goes off once engine started? Cos ive never seen this light before and I can only imagine that whoever messed with it didnt return the dial to the middle Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

Hi... I been off the site for a while.... I sold my zed to Mikey Bean.... It was a while back, anyways I have had a clear out since and found the spare set of keys for the ZX. Obviously they're no use to me, and I guess it would good for him to have the spare set, my problem is I cant seem to get in touch with him on his number... Is anyone in contact with him? Seems like from a search he is no longer on the site. Anyways.... Thanks for looking

just want to know what are the thoughts and opinions about bose speakers compared to sony, alpine, jbl. i can get hold of second hand bose speakers and possible some tweeters if im lucky. these particular ones are from a 2012 mazda 3 mps. ive read different views of bose bad and good and understand that buying car speakers is based on how you use them and preference etc. getting rid of the sub box and amp that just slides from one side to the other in the trunk. and want to stick to just the norm. im a bass addict and have both treble and and bass at max so does anyone using used bose speakers out of another car or bought new bose speakers fitted in their lad…

Well it looks to me like anyone with a well loved original Z or with "tasteful" modifications will have to sigh again as like me you may be thinking maybe it's just a sign of the times or as I often think. What is it with a lot of Z owners these days? I seem to see more: Interiors ruined with PVC film crap. tasteless bloody stickers relating to manufacturers of performance parts that the cars have never even seen a sniff of. Day glow accents Vent shapes stuck on for no practical reason to wings and bonnets Bloody Led under car lights or worse in car/ headlight strips from eBay that are poorly fitted. massive base boom box things thrown into the boot any old…

I've just been browsing the net at images of the ZED and the Yankees have definitely got it right! No front number plate! IMO it completely ruins the front of the car/bumper. There are some lovely bumpers out there for sale, but they don't look as good when there's a massive bit of white plastic screwed on the front! Why are our laws so different?

Fitted 15mm spacers a few months ago with no need to flare the arches. Then fitted coil overs and new suspension parts in Nov - still no need to flare arches. However, last weekend I finally got around to getting Hunter alignment done and now I'm getting contact between arch and tyres when driving over even small bumps in the road. Didn't notice it until last night (as I hadn't really driven the car since alignment) and I had to do a quick 15min job to remove the spacers in a service station car park on the M40 so I could get home with peace of mind! So...spacers stay off til I can get arches flared - anyone know where/how I can get this done in/around Croydon/L…

Lil Stevie sent me a din shelf (not a zed one) and I purchased myself a CD player to replace my one that broke.... Below my old cd play was one of those BOSE speaker things which I planned to replace with the din shelf. Here's the photos :-) not bad for just over and hours work. As it was before (not a good pic but it's the only one I could find lol Removed the CD player and speaker The DIN shelf Had no holes for the brackets (I only had a screwdriver set to do this job  ) Holes, made using a tiny flat bladed screwdriver and then made bigger with a screw :) Offering up the brackets Finished …
