Hi people Ive discovered that my steering wheel turns left and right. lol what i mean is that shifts from left to right theres no steering adjustment option, so i removed the panel below the steering wheel to access the steering column there seems to be a plate side on going across the column with a bolt. the bolt seems tight, and while moving the wheel in a left to right motion you can the the column moving side to side. does anyone have any info on this? is it meant to move sideways a little?

My old ones are bust due to over heating so I want to know... On a relatively high powered Zed, how important is it to have uprated valve springs? Or are the normal Nissan ones pretty good? And which ones to get?

Im looking to get an engine rebuild and upgraded injectors. Was thinking to my self.... At what point does the pump get maxed out or close to it? Ive always had the notion that its better to pay a little more and have something run at 60% of duty cycle rather than 90%. Im looking at getting 740cc injectors over the 555 for this very reason. Can someone please advise me on the pump, and if it is worth replacing then what options do i have? CheerZ

OK so gonna change the Spark plugs in my Z as they have not been changed in over 11 years! They have done well considering my Z has been and still is a daily drive all that time. I'm thinking I would like some NGK PFR6B-11B's but where can you get them in this country or is it an order job from Z1 in America. The only reason for this is I'm running 1.2Bar of boost on uprated Turbo's and understand the 11B's are a little longer than the NGK 11C's or any other plug. The Z Centre offer NGK Iridium's but are these better, offer any benefit or should I just stick with PFR6B-11B's as they we're specially designed for our engines... What Plugs is everyone run…

Well as many of you know some donut hit my car. We are bith insured with admiral (I knew this was going to be a problem) now they have come out and saidthe damage I claim he has caused was already there!!!!! They offered me a £300 settoement before VAT. Ummmm NO!! I am well and truely fed up with thus. 28 days ago I put my car up for sale(for financial reasons) and a few days later the tit hit my car putting the sale on hold and it then starts costine me money. I have the listing on gumtree which is about to expire. With all relevant photos with NO DAMAGE! Because there wasn't any. I've offered to show them this and they said it doesn't matter about that. So I demanded a …

Where to start, Well since getting to Lossie I found out that there was an RAF Rally team based out of here and Kinloss that needed a Co-Driver. So I got in touch and have got the job. My non race National B license is on the way, as is all my racewear. The team is small, just Audrey the driver who owns the car and 2.5 engineers. I am really excited and the team was on the edge of chucking in the towel until I got in touch and now its go-go-go. Last season in June they had a clutch failure 5 mins into a stage and that was them done for 2013. Audrey had been going to events and having to find a volunteer Nav, there was just no consistency. But now the 4 of us hav…

thought I'd see if there was anyone in Essex that fancy's giving me a hand at the weekend to fit my hicas eliminator as I'm a bit of a novice when it comes to anything mechanical. I will happily pay your petrol costs and even supply bacon (or whatever) sarnies and cups of tea? I should have all the tools to do the job, its just the know how I am lacking :)

Hi again I have a problem with a leak its coming from the passenger side just below the ecu (floor) collecting just in front on the foot well. Ive noticed its dripping by the panel which looks to hold the flare? I have removed this panel and tried various methods of fault finding also ive checked all drain holes with targa's off ive poored water down each drain hole and it all comes out at the bottom of the car, so it cant be drain holes or pipes, I have also removed the rubber section which screws into the top of the A pillar and sealed with silicone still got the problem is there anyway water can get in from behind the battery tray? Sent from my GT-I9300…

A little background would probably be good here. I got my zx in 2010 just before the first child was born and coped quite well until number 2 came along earlier this year. Then the slight moaning from her indoors became more like ultimatums (ultimati?) and I had to get a bigger car . 1 RS6 later and the Mrs is happy and I'm at least happy with the power. We've now moved back to england and the ZX is filling the garage much to annoyance of the ball and chain. She wants it gone  to make space for a bike but I have a get out clause! I want to do some racing and can convince the trouble I need to keep my lovely ZX (which I love) if she can be my track car. …
