a mate has just got a e46 m3 looks very nice we went for a blast last nite its fast like and sounds great ,we went for a blast on the 300zx tt after and both agreed the 300zx was a lot faster indeed the 300zx is running 14ps,i chip, and cat back system and cone intake stock turbos .the 300 is 23 yeasr old and can leave a 2003 m3 in the dust that's not bad going for a old jap banger

The new motor has a couple of scabs at the lower screen corners and found a big rust area on the back edge. So easier to swap for a rust-free one (cheers Mark) and fit the smooth skin. Spoiler was in the usual water logged state and fubar! Took the spoiler off to stop the Tailgate from keep dropping LOL! The Rear of the Pearl white replacement was then prepped and painted Platinum Silver so it can be fitted to the car............ Much easier to fit the skin and fill etc. :ninja:

Hi does anyone know where you get them rad plate bracket things for thicker rads didn't really want a bling chrome one but I don't think I have a choice thanks .

There is no x or h pipe on my exhaust. Do i need it ? Would it change the sound of exhaust ?

Transmission problem? Been driving her every day for the last month with no issues got in today and noticed a whinning sound coming from the auto transmission was fine yesterday does this mean its on its way out or could it be a top up? I know that gearbox oil shouldn't really get low unless theres a leak, this has just happened overnight which I find odd, hoping its something simple and not a gearbox :( Sent from my GT-I9300 using Tapatalk

There is a car auction place right where I live and my boys came in all excited "mum mum there's a zed in there" so looked on the auction site and yes they're right there certainly is one at the moment bid is £100 has no keys, no mot, rust and scratches but its a zed!!!! Hi, After finding out on my previous thread that I need to pull the engine to do the head gasket I've been mulling over what to do next. The engine suffered a pretty serious overheat last year, caused by the nearside turbo water pipe. Last week I finally got round to replacing the pipe, and doing a water by pass while the plenum was off. I think I knew really that the gasket was knackered but needed to sort the pipe to be sure :( So the dilemma is, do I pull the engine, have the heads skimmed & do gaskets or replace the engine completely with a known working one (yet to be sourced)? Anti lock light is on. is it because ive not bleed the abs nipples in the boot when i bleed my brakes?

Do you have to ,when bleeding the brake do the abs nips in the boot when your bleeding the brakes or is that one only need doing when your undone somthing to do with the master cylinder .

Water temp stuff , cant remember what its called but i think its desinged to lower your water temp by a couple degress , does anyone know if it works and also is anyone on here running on here without that sound proffing UNDER THE BONNET on there cars.?

Hello, I am new here. I own a swb manual with a Vg30DETT... There are a host of problems to solve with this car and don't know the best way of going about it. Is there a specialist I could see who can solve the following issues at a reasonable price? If so, how much would it be? The following problems: - Hicas leak ... i am just playing with the idea as i'm going to do something over the winter. i know the cost of rebuilding a zed engine with all the gear to reach around 550-600 bhp with uprated turbos and boost. now after reading many threads on the forum mentioning a v8 conversion i am tempted and was even thinking of getting a soarer as a doner but after a little research i found out its a nightmare to convert to a manual. which v8 do people usually use in a zed as a v8 and a big fook off turbo might be a more suitable option for myself

Does anyone use these? I just popped over to Halfrauds to get a couple but was told they don't sell them. I suspect the likes of B&Q will sell something similar albeit not necessarily suitable for vehicles.
