I have a violent steering wheel shake under braking. I remember some talk on here of some worn bushed that can cause this. Which ones were they and where can I get replacement rubber ones from? Thanks

Sorry a 350z not a z32 but sometimes when those little jobs go off track it can be so frustrating! so said 350z was in for clutch change today as it was slipping under load at motorway speeds in top gear. So within 5 minutes of it been in the air I could see the exhaust nuts were looking nasty, so plenty of freeing agent and get on with some of the other nuts and bolts. So even with heat and the best fitting sockets they rounded off, not one, not two but all four!!! eventually after getting some of my Mac tools socket hammered on they moved but then snapped all of then doh!! With the exhaust off the box was soon out and the clutch removed,…

Just wondering whether anyone has considered doing this modification? It's a simple 'hidden' OEM-esq type mod which I have been wanting to do for a while now. My last 4 DDs have had it and I find it quite useful on motorway driving. I have come across some wiring schematics, but nothing that I've actually understood in terms of relays required or what have you. I have come across this: http://e31wiki.org/wiki/One-touch_turn_signal_module but was hoping there may be an easier route to take with this? Just wondering whether groover or phutumsch have looked into this or would know?

Hi guys, My mechanic came around today to fit these arms: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nissan-300ZX-Z32-90-96-JDM-Front-Adjustable-Upper-Camber-Arm-Upper-Arms-/370936356724?pt=UK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM&hash=item565d879f74 The trouble is he said that they don't fit!?.. apparently the ends are too wide? he said if they were lathed down they might fit and he did try to do one end to fit bit no luck... Also he said they didn't seem to tighten when doing up the allen key bits, has anyone had experience with this?! Any help would be much appreciated! Kind regards, W

I've put on a gearbox and diff and rear subframe from another car with less km and the vibration got worse than before. Even worse when I went from 19" to 16" wheels. Also replaced the bushing with energy bushing on the subframe and diff. There was no vibration from the car I took the parts from. I don't have the car right now. (in poland to change the sills) But I have tried to rotate the 1 piece driveshaft 180 degress. didn't help. (90 degree was not possible. The holes did not match on the aluminium part/wheel on the diff.) (the aluminium parts has got a few dents in it..... I'm guessing the bushing change might have enhanced the vibration ???

Nice article on what is like to drive the IMSA raced 1993 Nissan 300ZX "75" car. Driven by Steve Millen (owner of the Stillen company) and Johnny O'Connell the car developed over 700HP and 600 torques and together with the "76" car dominated the IMSA GTO and GTS categories between '90 to 95'. The article was published in the US Cigar Aficionado magazine in '95: http://www.cigaraficionado.com/webfeatures/show/id/High-Speed-Dreams_7653/p/1 "Coming out of the first turn, a sharp right-hander, I give the car its first taste of octane. For a fraction of a second, it accelerates demonically, like Porsches I've been in, wildly fast, but nothing beyond physi…

Hi all, I've been busy at work lately so been keeping myself on the low with the forums recently. So after a couple of PM's from concerned members I thought I'd give everyone an update on my zed. Currently it's up on four axle stands so that I can get the exhaust off and the engine out. Unfortunately for me there's a few fairly rusted bolts and I can't get the exhaust off, as well as that the weather cover I had over the zed wasn't waterproof and of course the bonnet was off and so was the plenum so my engine block I'd more like a gold fish bowl. Half my zed interior is in my hut and the rest is up the loft along with new spoiler, bumper and w…

There's a company on ebay selling twin turbo msp/ams copies at the moment for £110 delivered for the pair. Mine arrived in days and quality is outstanding. From the research I've done it seems that these are almost identical to ams/msp manifolds at a huge reduction in price.

The delivery guys came at 9 this morning so stuffed it in the garage and went to work................ Boldy came round after for the first look-over and up to now it's pretty much as described. Not looked into the cooling issue yet but there certainly has been some money thrown at it! We both couldn't get over the condition of the rear arches/sills-like brand new! really!-even feeling up into the arch there isn't a bubble, scab or anything bad! Usual sill flanges bent thanks to incorrect jacking, couple of scabs on the T/gate etc, so at least the shell is good!-Engine condition will decide which way I'll take the car..................... ODO is showing 5…

Getting my new zed delivered tomorrow but just found out that the brakes have seized due to lack of use. The delivery guy said we'll be lucky to push it on the drive. It's quite a small drive so can't tow it on so will have to try & release the brakes. Anyone know the best way to do this?

Stumbled across this picture. If you look carefully, you can see three rows of brand spanking new Z32s ready for loading. "A worker leads a Nissan 300ZX to enter a freighter at the Japanese auto manufacturers pier in Yokosuka, southwest of Tokyo, May 19, 1995. Some 2,800 models were loaded to the vessel for exportation to the United States while three models of the Nissan’s luxury cars were included in the preliminary sanction list.
