I just got my Traction Control back from RaceLogic after they changed the insides of the thing and so far it seems to be working. Fingers crossed. However I have to set it up again. Does any one know the settings, the wheel size things, the pulses per revolution. Does any one remember how to do that setup with the roll forward then double back? Thanks Guys Stuart

Luke, this has got to be you: [edit] tough masculine heterosexual [/edit] yellow TT, reg A233, with big fat exhausts and a "pssst" gearbox thingy (let me know if that's too technical for you) zipping through the lights between the Broadmarsh and it's bus station, 9:45pm last night. You might not have noticed me, I was standing at the crossing drooling... :/ My gf asked if you were one of the guys she'd heard about that "race" (I use the word loosely, having seen some of them in action) around the bus station most nights Anyway, it reminded me how damned sexy the rear end of a Z looks in the dark So thanks for that... [This message has been edit…

Over the last week I have noticed that when driving between 30-40mph or 1500-2000 rpm, the engine constantly splutters. It makes no difference whether the engine is hot or cold and doesn't happen if you apply more pressure on the throttle. I got someone to run a check on it it and it came back with error code 34 - knock sensor. I had it service and the ECU reset and it was OK for a couple of days but is now back. Any ideas?

If you rated cars in several different categories, and then gave an overall rating I reckon a 300ZXTT would probably be up there with the best if not the best... It's very fast (not fastest) It's got a high top speed (not highest) It's very comfortable (not as good as a Bentley/Jag/Top Merc etc.) It's hard to match in terms of sports car handling. It's well kitted out with features/driver aids etc., which even more expensive cars don't have - eg. HiCAS, climate control, Targa roof., wheels like fans, electric seats etc. It's strong, so pretty safe. It's quite good on fuel, considering the power and engine size. It's looks are hard t…

Modena, Italy: The Ferrari F1 Team fired their entire Pit- Crew Yesterday. The announcement was followed by Ferrari's Decision to take advantage of the English Government's "Work For the Dole" Scheme and hire unemployed youths from Liverpool. The decision to hire them was brought on by a recent .. documentary on how unemployed youths in Liverpool were able to remove a set of car wheels in less than 6 seconds without proper equipment, whereas ferrari's existing crew can only do it in 8 seconds. This was thought to be an excellent yet bold move by Ferrari Management, as most races are won & lost in the pits, Ferrari would have an advantage o…

Subject: FW: The clever girl with the lighter shade of hair A blonde, wanting to earn some money, decided to hire herself out as a handy-woman, and started canvassing a nearby well-to-do neighborhood. She went to the front door of the first house, and asked the owner if he had any odd jobs for her to do. "Well, you can paint my porch," he said; "How much will you charge me?" The blonde, after looking about, responded, "How about $50?" The man agreed and told her that the paint and other materials that she might need were in the garage. The man's wife, inside the house, heard the conversation and said to her husband, "Does she realize t…

I was happily driving along in my TT 300 down the M4 to Reading and, with the road being empty I decided to release my stress and floor it. Around the 130mph mark, big grin on my face I saw the unmistakeable blue flashing lights of the old bill behind me in one of these 'rapid response' police scoobys they have. "Shitte!"..for a few seconds I thought of outrunning him, but Mr Sensible took over and I decided to slow done, pull over and take the fine. Having stopped, the police man walked over and started to look around car.."Its nice" he said "I've always admired these cars, and as I have had a good day, have a lovely house and kids, I'll let you off with a warning ONLY …

Can anyone help with a quick question about oil? I want to order some oil from Shell this morning but could do with some advice. I've got a '91 Jap TT Auto with about 70K on the clock and want to put the oil in that will be the 'best for the engine', and not necessarilly the 'best oil', if that makes sense. I've been recomended by the guy's at Shell Helix Ultra 5W-40 fully synthetic, but from past experience know that fully synthetic oil can sometimes be too good and may be better off with 10w-40 Helix Plus semi synthetic, as the Helix Ultra maybe too thin. Any suggestions gratefully received. Thanks, Nij

I have recently acquired a UK 300 TT. Today I noticed the engine was lumpy at up to 1500 rpm when cold, B4 i thought there was a slight uneveness at tickover but not like today. When the engine heats up it sounds ok and the lumpy tickover isnt there. I pulled out all the sparkplugs tonight, they are all fine and have recently been changed. The only other thing i noticed was the plugs onto the coils are broken and maybee I thought not giving a good connection but no difference when i pushed them onto the coils. Any ideas anyone, I think a crypton tune to hopefully show up a weak coil or something like that as i dont think its terminal. Cheers John Crisp

Just remembered, when i was fitting bushes to my motorbike shocks i used hot water(not quite boiling) to soak the bushes in to soften them. this makes them much more plyable. with a touch of grese in the tension rod hole, a hos bush and a big vice they should slip in a treat! Hope this will help some one who is sweating there ass of trying to get them in! Kris ------------------
