Car is currently sufering weird starting issues. Every time I go to start the car, disarm the alarm, turn the ignition on, wait a few seconds, turn it further and the car takes about ten seconds to start whilst making this really anoying (loud) clicking noise. The sound seems to be coming from behind the dash. Any one else had this problem and might know what it could be?

I've noticed some oily gunk appearing on the bottom bit of bumper below the reg plate, there is a radiator type thing behind it and up a bit so i guess it could be comming from there but i dont know what its for, it cant be the intercoolers as they are at the sides and the main rad is further back than this anyone know what it is and what may be wrong with it? hmmm...seems like loads of people are having problems with their clutch, like me! I've bled my clutch thoroughly, but it still doesn't disengage the clutch properly. I cant get the car into 1st and 2nd (just). My question is how do you tell if the clutch master cylinder is on it way out? If I pump mine loads while the car is off eventually I get some resistance in it, but when I turn the ignition it sinks right to the floor again. Any ideas? A blind man slowly walks in to a pub, sits at the bar, orders a large pint of bitter and then says to the bar maid, "I've got this great joke about blondes, anyone want to hear it?" The bar fell silent and Big Bertha, a 6ft blonde looks at the man and says, "Look mate, I'm here with my 4 girlfriends, all of which are blonde, all are proffesional weight lifters and we could all fold you up like a deck chair. So think about it do you still wanna tell that 'blonde' joke?" The man sighed, nodded and then said, "Yeah you're right, I couldn't be bothered to expalin it 5 times!" ------------------ Rik

Hi, since clouting a rear wheel against a kerb I had to replace the lower wishbone and a HICAS arm. The car seems pretty straight again now but I get an unpleasant vibration at 80+ mph (ahem!)it runs in a cycle, vibrate for 2 seconds (BBBbbbbbrrrrrr....) and then smooth for two seconds and then vibrate again....most noticeable when coasting/deccelerating/no throttle Wheels aren't out of balance I don't think, this should clear up at 80mph. I did have the rears swapped for the fronts to even out the tyre wear a bit.... Any ideas anyone?? Cheers! RobH

Since a lot of you seem to have IT backgrounds I wondered if anyone knows why even my uninteresting business website gets regular hits every week from links that go back to http://www.odci.gov - also known as the CIA. Do they look at everything? Its enough to get you paranoid. Willie

Am I right in thinking that there are basically 2 camps here - those that want to mod the car as much as they can afford to get the most out of it, and those that think the car as stock is hardly worth tinkering with because it took so much development that any 'tinkering/modding' will probably lead to problems/changes which you wouldn't suspect/envisage/want ? MY standpoint is probably somewhere in the middle of these exteme views. Be interested to hear people's thoughts...

Right, so I've dumped the plastic plate piece and cut the front plate down to illegal proportions, and attached it to the bottom piece of the front skirt. It slopes back slightly. Not sure if it looks best there yet - neone else done the same ? Am thinking of moving it to the white section below the black piece right on the nose, so that it protrudes over the top section of the lower intake. I'd post a pic, but not taken one yet and haven't attempted [laziness] to master my scanner/posting pics yet.

I was going to use the car for my honeymoon next Monday and Wedding on Sunday, can you help? Can't get the air out, if there is any. Can't take the car on a long trip, clutch disengages when hot. If you happen to have a vacume (pressurised) clutch bleeding kit that works with the 300 and are not to far maybe I can borrow it or come over and use it. Tried many things, stuff I ordered was incorrect etc.
